I would rather have the expansion delayed than have Shaman launch like this

It’s tiring.

The sheer lack of communication, the sorry state that our trees are in, lackluster visuals, the ever-present scourge to Ele shamans that is Icefury…

Blizzard. Shaman players, as a baseline, aren’t asking for terribly much. We want the same amount of effort put into our class as other classes get.

A literal crumb of communication. A yes or no.
Radio silence is only causing tensions to boil over, and I would gladly wait a month longer for TWW to launch if it meant Shamans actually getting- you know, actual work done on them.

Speaking for elemental i would like to play my spec without a hero talent tree and thats all i am asking for.
They should give us option to disable a talent node or even the whole tree and i am serious.

Just dont points into them? Great, now that blizz has solved this they dont have any time left for other shaman work.

It feels exact the same with/without it anyway, at least for stormbringer ele.
Exact same rotation and gameplay, with one of your spells replaced by a weaker version of it.

Farseer is exactly the same rotation, too. Just throwing meatballs all day every day. The difference is we loose the current 4 piece bonus so our AoE suffers even more. I was excited for them at first, but now its just so disappointing.

Not interested in the expansion being delayed, DF is the worst expansion of all time and it’s not even close.

Idk BFA at launch was pretty dang bad. Most butchered state the classes have even been.

For enhancement, imo, DF was definitely a downgrade from the SL redesign.

For ele, yes df is the worst and SL was really good, if not the best.

Current enhance is super fun. Hope they don’t change anything to the gameplay.

It will change, class design always does. It needs to or it becomes boring.

I still hate what Overflowing Maelstrom did to the spec.

Fun is subjective and I’m glad you’re enjoying it.

What is objective about shamans is that we are squishy, have to deal with target caps when most don’t, and the utility we bring is very, very niche.

That’s because he is referring to PvE.

If he played that enhancement shaman in PvP he’d be singing a different tune (and playing a different toon).

Can’t launch late when stockholders want a good quarter report:( unfortunately blizzard doesn’t answer to players, they answer to the people who want to make money off of the players.

They didn’t just put all that work into other classes so they could delay it for shamans

Shamans aren’t squishy. Just cast healing surge at 10 maelstrom stacks and you’re full hp.

Yea, but in pvp that’s a huge tradeoff. Using that 10 maelstrom to heal means you are doing a ton less damage.

Same in pve, my friend. There is no counter play in pve- once you lose that damage its gone and everybody in your group is mad that your damage is low.
