I wonder what percentage of WoW players got fully vaccinated?

I do plan on getting the booster once it’s available, too. I have asthma so I’m not taking any chances.

Like Biden and Harris saying they wouldn’t trust a vaccine developed under the Trump presidency? That third? GTFOH with that garbage, every single entity has had mixed, crap messaging since the whole damn thing started last January/February.

That isn’t how vaccines work. That’s not how this works…that’s not how any of this works.

My 2nd put me into bed for a 24 hour thing. I got it Friday, sat Saturday out, by Sunday morning I was already feeling better.

I got the J&J, I had side effects for the first day or so but was fine after that.

I’ve been exposed to Covid since, and just tested negative, so it’s doing its job.

People don’t want to get vax’d because they think it’ll be a “win for the other side”.

No, we all want everyone to live and for society to come back.

Unless you literally can’t, please get the shot. It does work.

Again, no.

The vaccines use genetically altered mRNA to trick your body to produce harmless spike proteins that, when not attached to an actual virus, are not dangerous. The spike proteins do nothing to you, except elicit an immune response (as all foreign entities do), allowing your body to create antibodies against those spike proteins. Thus, when the actual SARS-COV-2 virus infects, the antibodies already exist and they destroy the actual virus before you get sick.

It is NOT that different than a vaccine you’re accustomed to because it is making deactivated virus fragments to allow your body’s immune system to learn how to recognize it.

I drove 100 miles to get vaccinated because our ignorant no-sense governor sent a surplus of vaccines to sparsely populated rural areas (his voting base) and not nearly enough to densely populated urban areas, and didn’t want to wait the extra months for it to be actually available in my city.

You seem to miss the point.

The idea is that someone going untreated is prone to spread a disease, than someone who is not treated. Because of anti-vaxxers of other diseases, we have found certain diseases thought to be extincts to be brought back and this puts other people who actually react dangerously bad to certain vaccines, in danger.

Yes, there are people who actually can’t take vaccines. And those who can vaccinate, but choose not to, are an added danger to those individuals.

Yes, some us could stop just not caring… until you put our children in danger with your idiocy.

Basically.

I read a story a while back about a kid admitted to the hospital with tetanus. Spent several weeks in ICU. You’d think the parents would then have him vaccinated upon discharge, but nope!

you absolutely can protect yourself from anything. It just depends on the lengths you’re willing to go. Miss me with that garbage.

I got both rounds of the Moderna shot at a drive-through clinic they had at a semi-local high school as soon as I could get an appointment - fairly early on due to my age and complicating factors. I told my friend in Australia that I was getting the shot and he said it was still reserved for the “vulnerable” population there, I said well yeah, I’m vulnerably fat.

He said that once I had the shot, I would be Invulnerably Fat, and I still kind of want to have that put in a t-shirt.

After the second shot we decided that I was upgraded to Invincibly Fat

No thanks. It’s also creepy how they’re trying to coerce people into getting it.

3 reasons why i won’t get a Covid “Vaccine”

  1. it is not a vaccine, people need to quit calling it that
  2. it doesn’t work, the CDC has stated that being vaccinated does not reduce your chances to get it, does not decrease your viral load and does not diminish your contagion level. All it does is maybe lessen the severity of symptoms if you get Covid
  3. This is the main one. The government granted both pharmaceutical companies and employers FULL IMMUNITY from civil and criminal prosecution from people should the longterm side effects of this mRNA shot prove harmful. There is 0 information on the longterm side effects and should I become ill or die, my family has no recourse to go after them.

It’s totally creepy how they eradicated polio and smallpox in the US with vaccines too, making people not kill other people with their germs. It’s not like it only works for everyone if almost all people get them or anything!

It’s insane to me that people willingly politicized this thing. I love running, and when I heard there were long-term respitory issues with COVID I was like “I don’t care if this vaccine gives me gills, I’m getting it.”

Completely inappropriate, uncalled for, and inhumanly callous. Just because someone has a different opinion doesn’t make them less of a person than you, and how could you allow people to die just because you disagree with their opinion or beliefs?

Wholly and completely a violation of our constitutional rights, rights I shed blood for, and more than a little of my own. We do not live in a dictatorship.

That is life, and it takes a grown up to accept that their opinion does not suit everyone.

Semper Fi! :us:

If they hadn’t screwed up the messaging, changing their minds every week, they probably wouldn’t have to have lottery winnings or 100 dollar checks to convince people.

There will always be those die hards that refuse to have anything to do with the government but those are usually outliers. What we have now is the governments, and media’s, fault.

the funny part about people not trusting the vaccine because of no long term studies and if they believe the virus was created in a lab. were there long term studies done in the lab in china to determine long term effects?

if it were created for nefarious purposes by china, i’m thinking i will trust a vaccine more that at least wasn’t created in china and underwent some testing.

There is a saying that fits in this situation. Never argue with idiots. They’ll drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.
