I wonder if I am alone in feeling

PvP is waiting for you.

This is what we call excuses. You realize OCE groups exist?

45 gilded per week doing just heroic raid.

15 gilded from silken court heroic
15 gilded from queen heroic

Convert 90 runed crest → 15 gilded crest

(You should get 90 runed from doing the full run anyway)

Need more? Run +8s or pray you get lucky from delves.

Never heard of that, but honestly that’s a good name for a foot pad. Sadly, I have diabetic neuropathy of the feet and that might not work for me. Trying medication to help with the nerve pain, but honestly expect to have both my feet amputated eventually.

I also never really learned key binds, and what macros I use are on my taskbar which I click on my screen. I only have a two-button mouse so any key binds I would learn would have to be strictly with the keyboard. As they say, can’t teach an old dog new tricks.

I’m sorry to hear that

There is a lot more to the game than ilvl. I never intend to mythic raid or do crazy high keys yet the game is still very fun.

At 619 you are plenty powerful out in the open world to do anything you want.

Perhaps orient your goals away from ilvl and you’ll find the game more fun.

If its stressful dont push yourself.

Trust me there’s no pot of gold at the end of the m+ rainbow.

Wow is a video game so just do whats fun to you.

I don’t feel discouraged. One of two things will happen for me.

  1. I want to advance my gear more, so I will dabble in M+ more and get used to the new squish they did to it.
  2. End of being satisfied with the iLevel and work on alts.

Either way I will be fine.

Dragonflight made pushing into Mythic gear obtainable (at least for your main). I’m not sure why Blizz decided to revert Mythic to being exclusive again in TWW, but I’ve accepted it and moved on. I’m converting my crests to Gilded once a week and upgrading my Tier piece-by-piece to 623 for the transmog (and minor improvement). But there’s no realistic chance of getting actual Mythic track gear this time around, unless you want to play hardcore which just ain’t worth it tbh.

It sounds like you just don’t enjoy actually just playing the game itself.

Everything you just said has to do with being rewarded.

Do you not enjoy just playing the game?

Consider that. I don’t think you do. I don’t think a lot of people do.

They just plow mindlessly on until their attention span runs out and then come make a thread like this.

I understand the frustration of hitting a wall.

But, even if you could farm 8s easily, you will hit another wall eventually, just higher, and your wow life would be ā€œoverā€ anyway.

What I am trying to say is, try not to get too frustrated about it. Do what you can, try alts, enjoy the journey. Play for fun. And if it is not fun, try something else.

I wonder if I am alone in feeling that clickbait titles don’t deserve any engagement. Titles are designed to give you information about the content of a piece, not trick you into paying attention to … whatever this is.

You can craft 619 pieces and get hero gear at 4/6 comfortably, if you want more than that you need to do more

I was discouraged when the reward structure was changed.
Not even really bothering with it at this point, doesn’t feel worth it at all.

stick with it. i hateed m+ this season then i got ilvl 625 and everything got much much easier

no, not at all, w/out a dedicated group of friends and/or guildies to do content with,
the game is much to toxic a player base to do randoms with

I’m still excited to get to 619, cause then I am done gearing in this expac. I do everything except Mythic anything, so 619 is end game for me :blue_heart:

I mean no disrespect. Replace get good with learn your class or improve your play which is something every single player should strive for kind of telling though that my ā€œget goodā€ reply triggered you.

Stop this nonsense language, you said something that i disagree with so i posted a response, so many stupid buzzwords are used today, and most of the time it seems to be in an effort to in some way attack or diminish another persons argument without any real basis.
