okay buddy i think youve transmogged enough for one day.
this is just the mog(s) i settled on. thank goodness changing hair and color don’t cost gold
also, I like that - so far - the last post in this thread requesting more edgier and darker themes is essentially me discussing playing dress up lol…
That’s what i am talking about.
You’d be surprised what you can get away with in a T-rated game:

Believe it or not, (red) blood on the floor would bump the game up to an M-rating. The image in the second link above somehow got through on the remaster/remake, but the red blood splatter from the original was changed black.
It’s a strange rule, but claws literally dripping in fresh blood is okay but seeing it on the ground isn’t.
Anyhow… could be a wee bit of an issue, unless Blizz is okay with the potential loss of sales and other hiccups that would come with upping the rating.
But really, you don’t need blood to make stuff dark.
Hell, you don’t even need darkness itself:

blizzard isnt gonna take the sales loss that incurs with making it m rated.
Just play Warhammer or Diablo, man.
Jammed to these guys a lot too in my tweens. Good times lol
reminds me of mariah carey’s secret grunge album…i think there may be some released tracks floating around if the internet is to be believed…
Reminds me of Garth Brooks emo phase
I don’t understand how I’ve never heard this cover before, it’s exactly the kind of thing my family would’ve loved in like, 2004.
yes! It’s her Chris Gaines persona. Though, I’d love to hear a five-octave range singer take on some rock.
I heard it aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaages ago in Downtown Disney during one of our vacations to cali. This was when I was a widdle pop punk tween so I was psyched.
I knew when they added a spider phobia filter that this was going to be another fluff expansion like DF.
I think they are shying away from darker stuff since SL was such a flop.
And to be clear, I wasn’t asking. The arachnobia filter and their approach to the last zone in this expansion is another thing to add to the list of potential squandered for the sake of, honestly, not much of anything.
Nah. They just didn’t want folks with a VERY common phobia to avoid content
It’s a T rated game. There is nothing scary about the game, except being all alone, late at night, in the Karazhan crypts focused on puzzles and you see a rat run through the corner of the screen when you know you are alone down there. That’s about the only dark n gritty you will get in this game.
Yeah, that’s how it’s always been. WoW has moments of grim-darkness mixed in with the levity and poop humor. Though honestly it does feel like Blizzard leaned hardest into the “modern gamer” trends in DF, but dialed it down just abit in TWW… so far. We’ll see where the xpac ends.
