opened up a can of worms with this one

now every time I open up these forums I see people crying for more different races even though we a stack already

can’t work out if the only people left playing are just people who love rerolling toons over and over and over

I agree. Allied races should be strictly a Battle for Azeroth feature.

However, playable alliance high elves would be a new race that is not allied.

I disagree with your opinion. More options is always welcomed and I enjoy the variety it brings to the table.

So every month you’re going to race change your 6 or 7 max level characters because you have a selection of 30 races

they could have just added different skin colours or like, different horns and stuff and had the exact same result

I have 2 max level characters, and I’ve race changed only twice in all my years of playing, and even then that was because I was faction changing.

Overall, I agree. Allied races should be an expansion only feature.

Agreed.

What they should have done was added the mounts and then made the “allied” races a customization feature of the core races.

In the long run it makes more sense. Several of the races have multiple tribes that look drastically different from one another and to make a race of every variant is just silly.

we got the 6 original allied races, + 2 now , and then +2 again in 8.3 maybe. and thats it. no more allied races.

thats how it should be done.

Um why not? My $30 a month for 2 accounts helps pay for the devs just like yours does.

I have probably made over 100 characters in the last year and a half. Only a few got to max level for various reasons, but I paid and played.

I have had this playstyle before WoW even launched. On launch day I made multiple characters on both factions and played them all.

Heck I even have 1 account under my battlenet id that has a horde of every race and class at level 90. Havent played the acount in years…

So? I get it if someone doesnt like the allied races, but saying it shouldnt exist simply because you dont want to see players ask for them on the forums?

this isnt world of allied race craft. when there becomes too much of something to fit in your character list. then its definitely not good.

we dont need 30 allied races

they shaved down my options for talents so they can shave down your options for up coming races

This is, however, definitively, the MMO with the fewest character customization options. How dare they expand those options in a way you don’t like!

so add more customization options to the races we have now. we dont need allied races for that

and the devs are thinking about adding to original dwarves, the wildhammer customizations. dont need an allied race for that
