TLDR: Give us a portal in our Order Hall, or a toggle when you click on your Death Gate that lets us choose to either port to the Acherus in The Broken Shore, or the Acherus in the Eastern Plague Lands.
So, Acherus: The Ebon Hold.
It’s pretty cool. For the longest time it was a place in the sky that only DK’s could get to. We had trainers, target dummies, and our Runeforges there. We had a reason to head there.
Then it became our Order Hall in Legion. It moved. Cool. That shows that the Ebon Blade is still active, and that they can move their necropolis around the world to places that better suit the needs of defeating the current threat.
But… We can’t get back to Eastern Plague Lands unless we fly there. Some times it would be cool to be able to get back to the EPL location. For Alliance players this was the only port we had up in northern Eastern Kingdoms.
I would love to see either a portal in the Dalaran Acherus that leads to EPL, or a toggle when you use your Death gate. When you click on the gate it brings up a prompt and you can choose to go to The Broken Isles, or Eastern Plague Lands.
I know it’s trivial, and yes I COULD just fly there if I wanted to… But it would be nice to be able to port to our old stomping grounds.

I agree! Now that Legion isnt current, my Dalaran hearthstone is pretty much all i need to get back to Broken Isles.
EPL would be much more convenient right now. Especially as am Alliance DK who doesnt have Undercity as way to get to the northern EK

the nice thing about the old acherus was the old deathgate functionality. you could set your hearth to lights hope chapel, then deathgate from a field zone to legion acherus, then port to dal, do your business at the AH, maybe queue for a bg or whatever but when you were ready to return to questing you could hearth to lights hope, and you would just be in range of EPL Acherus to make use of the deathgate return port functionality, the system had saved the location you ported from, so you can now port back to that zone and resume questing.
1 hearth and 1 gate vs several ports and a flight master. this functionality also let you do stuff like go to dal to buy enchants for gear while raiding and then port back to the raid all on your own, no summon needed.
they broke it in 8.2 i think when they updated the deathgate to port you to the exact spot you ported from instead of a lore friendly nearest graveyard. since then there hasn’t been much use for EPL Acherus other than it has the best dummy situation.
Thankful I never did legion on this DK, so handy to deathgate to the far parts of the Eastern Kingdom.

Give us teh ability to Death Gate back to Archeus OR Broken Isles. I’d also like to suggest Druids being able to Dreamscape back to either Moonglade or the Emerald Dream.

Druids do have the ability to go to many places with their class hall tp though, which is cool. I just wish DKs had a similar function… like go to ICC, go to EPL, go to Broken Isles, etc. Maybe an NPC in Acherus that could move the necropolis for you? You know, as the Deathlord and all, you can kind of give orders and stuff.

at the very least, there should be a “timekeeper” in that proxity of the old Acherus location in EPL to allow us to "go back in time’ so we can use the one there.
what about an NPC that is like a flight master letting you pick any world graveyard to port to?

just goes to show how much they dont care aboout death knights that they cant fix basic things like that for our class.
They don’t care about the game in general. Why would they care about the players? They may as well put up a graphic that’s always visible “We don’t want to work on this game, just give us your money for nothing.”
Wholeheartedly agree. In fact… Please bring back order hall quests to new xpacs!!! This should never have been left behind. It made you feel almost like you had a personalized separate questline. Which was so awesome.
