I wish the Heritage Armor Sets was shared

I wish the Heritage Armor Sets of the Regular Races and Allied Races be like Shared atleast with races that make sense wise like the Regular Orcs to Mag’har, Lightforged to Regular Eredar Draenei, Regular Humans to Kul’tirans, Highmountain to Thunder Bluff Tauren, Nightborne to Night Elves, Void Elves to Blood Elves, and etc. But mostly just Draenei Races and Orcs specially orcs because for variant and variety reasons.

I really wanted to have some Armor pieces of the Kosh’aka Heirtage mixed with the Mag’har Heritage Armor with likes of Warsong, Frostwolf, and Blackrock Clans. I really want to be a Different Grunt Variant or a Armored Orcish Warlord so much on both sides of the coin.

If the Warden Armor is opened up to everyone now than why not Heritage Armor Sets to be shared with Allied Races to Regular Races now.

I just want the other colorations. And the original coloration I had of the Lightforged armor, before people got mad it wasn’t the one shown in the image and got it changed.

To this day, these exist in the game files and the silver/gold one was literally live in the game… but we still don’t have them. Yet other races have multiple colorations.

I took a month and ground out all the heritage armor sets. Had to level 10 new alts from 10-50 lol. And they ended up being disposable since I already had all my allied race toons as the class I wanted (they just didn’t have the heritage armor because they were race changed).

Thankfully with heirlooms it wasn’t difficult, it took about 8 hours per character. But I have all the heritage armor, tabards, allied race mounts, etc.

But yeah I do kind of agree, at least with some of the sets. I’d like to be able to use the Mag’har set on my regular orc. And the Lightforged set on regular Draenei. And Highmountain and regular Taruen too.

Some of the allied races like Kul’tiran and Vulpera don’t make sense to share as they are their own unique races, but most of them would make sense to share. I understand why they don’t though.

I have a few left to do. Gnomes, MG, Dwarf, Draenei, Goblin, KT, Vulpera, HMT and Tauren. Oof, I didn’t realize I still had so many to work on!

I think that’ll be my focus this weekend.

I only ground out the allied races. Plus I also have Orc, Dwarf, Human, and (soon) Tauren. Since the regular races have no race change restrictions on heritage armor.

So for the regular races I’m just doing it organically as those alts get levelled, lol.

I have a few races started, I just need to buckle down and pick one! I have an active second acct, I may put one on follow and level a couple at a time. :dracthyr_heart:

I have one of every race, so 2 of every class. Way too many alts. Except for using disposable heirloom alts to grind out the allied race heritage armor, I’m levelling all those alts “as I feel like it”. They were all between 104-110 during Legion, and they’re all 42-47 now. The lowest level I have now is 42.

It would be nice to mix and match with some of the sets – I could absolutely do a few fun mogs with the goblin and dwarf sets (my personal favorites). And it would be a great reward for my magpie alt-ing ways.

Buuuuutttt on the other hand, it’s nice that they’re unique.

But on the mutant third hand, I earned them and I want to play with them regardless of what toon I’m on, dagnabit.

Tauren was probably the one I had the most trouble with due to the last quest and boss. It was doable with some patience, but I hated every second of it. It probably didn’t help that I was trying to complete it on my rogue at the time, which I’m definitely no expert at playing.

Mine is a druid. I’ve been levelling him as balance, but I’m astonished at how weak balance is, even killing normal mobs. It does a little better in AOE scenarios. But compared to every other class where I can drop things in just a couple hits, balance takes like 30 seconds to slowly whittle health bars down. If I have a problem, I’ll just go feral.

I agree, but I think it’s safe to safe that will never happen.

Man. I wish it happened atleast with the Regular Orcs and Mag’har.

To be fair, the playable orcs are mostly younger ones who don’t have any memory of the “old ways” before the Legion. My headcanon for my orc character is that he was born in the internment camps and grew up hearing stories of the old ways on Draenor, and decided to become a shaman. I don’t really RP but it was neat to think of a story. But so much time has passed since then he’d be in his late 30’s or early 40’s now haha.

All of the orcs who would remember the old ways that the Mag’har stuck to, are either very elderly, or long gone from old age.

I want more colors from the clans.
e.g. Shadowmoon, Bleeding Hollow, Shattered Hand etc.

Wow, I’m trying to do the tauren heritage questline, and balance is the most useless spec I have ever played since I started this game. Level 52. Full heirlooms. The normal mobs are taking a quarter of my health per hit, I die in seconds. I can barely keep myself alive against one…two I’m dead before I can even cast a second spell. It’s crazy how weak this spec is. Even when I can get casts off, my most powerful abilities barely tickle even normal mobs. I can only imagine what it’s like in normal levelling gear without a full set of heirlooms.

So I went feral…they still hit pretty hard but I can keep myself up against 3 of them and while I don’t absolutely tear through them I don’t feel useless.

I feel bad for Mechagnomes. Since their hertiage armor makes them look like the fully mecha-gnomes like king Mechagon, but they only have the King Mechagon colour. Meaning they have to choose that colour scheme for their predetermined robotic bits to make it look like an actual set.

No rusted or the blue / silver colour scheme. Only silver and gold.

I just feel bad for Mechagnomes all around. lol But you’re very correct. They needed more colorations of that armor.

The funny thing is, the lore behind the mechagnomes had the potential to be really interesting. A group of gnomes want to restore themselves to their original titan-forged forms, and start slowly mechanizing themselves, but run into problems as it overwrites their personalities.

The issue is…they didn’t really do much with it, and the mechagnomes as a race are just gnomes with robot limbs and slightly different racials. And they fully joined Gnomeregan so they aren’t even a different political faction anymore.

Compared to say, Highmountain Tauren which are practically identical to regular Tauren just with antlers, but they have more intersting lore.
