Because Blizzard ignored the established more mysterious Spirit Healers in favor of the more militaristic ones that are just lamer versions of the Valkyr.
To this day I mourn the potential if they made bastion in that aesthetic/theme instead of… Greek soldiers and Robots built by owls…?

Aren’t the Kyrian supposed to be like a reimagined take on the classic spirit healer? Not sure how they ended up on blue muscle-mommy giants. The spirit healer design is pretty whispy.
