I wish Kul tirans had a better origin story

It was speculated that they are descendants of the drust, which would have been awesome.

But then Blizz confirmed that they are just humans

I was getting so excited to play one

But then Blizzard said that they were just humans who went to Kul’tiras and couldn’t put down the fork and beer. Major downer

Was interested for a second, until I realized I read the last to words of the threads title incorrectly.

I don’t think a different origin story would have been enough to help them compete with the Zandalari.

Meh.

At least we look better than the Zandalari

For some reason it feels like the Zandalari are in just about every quest/story when you do the Horde side and the KT humans are just mixed in with regular humans. In fact just about everyone in a place of power during the Alliance quests is a regular ole human with the exception of a few like Cyrus.

Technically all humans are very distant descendants of vrykul. So the theory isn’t all that wrong.

Are you kidding me? The Zandalari are sexy as hell, look at those abs. At least they don’t have neckfat rolls.

Big pffftt

Agreed, larger Kul Tirans just feel like a customization choice for regular humans. The “Kul Tiran” race as a whole doesn’t feel like a new addition to the Alliance. The Zandalari come across as a completely new race.

Agreed

ahem what? The peak of troll health and superiority against the exact opposite of the human peak health.

If there is any race that needs a better origin story it’s the Void Elves. Or maybe just a story at all.

Zandalari men can’t handle real women

I’ll crush your head like a watermelon between my thighs.

Yeah, they should become warlocks, I would insta roll a kultiran warlock

Tbf Kul Tirans shouldn’t even be playable.

Night Elves’ allied race should have been Nightborne, not Void Elves.

Blood Elves’ allied race should have been San’layn/Undead Elves, not Nightborne.

And Humans’ allied race should have been Half Elves or Vrykul, if anything, not Kul Tirans.

Kultiran humans are basically similar to Stormwind Humans. No way in the lore it says that Kultiran humans are fat and large. Jaina’s dad is the prime example of how a Kultiran human should look like.

I have to agree with you on the story of the Void Elves. I would love to see more development in the story but I got a feeling that won’t happen. Oh well I will make additions to the existing story myself :stuck_out_tongue:

Like Kul’tirans don’t have anything unique to them other than just being Fat Humans?

You keep forgetting how Awesome and Unique Kul’tirans are in terms of them being Sea Priests that worships the Sea, A Pirate/Spanish Theme and of course even aspects of the Witches of the 17th Century like the Drust for example.

Can you atleast think of anything positive than being a salty Night Elf Poster who cries and bashes Humans 24 7?
