Wotlk is best place to level, hands down. I just wish icecrown scaled to 120…

Suuuuuuuuure, okay, if you say so. I’ll pick outland for 70-80 every time over Icecrown.
But if you aren’t sarcastic then could you please tell me what do you like about that place?

I’m with OP on this one. Outland has a couple of good zones, but both the story and the ambiance of Northrend is way better in my opinion.

Why, so I have to avoid it for 50 levels instead of 10?
I did all quest in Icecrown back when it was current.
As you complete quests, you get phased.
After completing all quests in that zone, i saw nobody (with the exception of 1 or 2) since not much people completed the quests in that zone (I couldn’t even help summon people for ICC). Icecrown was not as popular as you might think.

Oh god, questing in either BC or Wrath is absolutely awful in this day and age… I cannot stand the 60-80 range; the quests are just too boring.
Luckily, OP, you’ll get to choose Wrath as your expansion of choice when Shadowlands comes out to level in. I for one will never step foot at a questing level in Outland or Northrend ever again so long as I play this game. MoP and WoD leveling are just so much better for atmosphere, visuals, flow, and story. At least in my opinion.

I agree 60 to 80 is pretty meh compared to questing elsewhere.

Icecrown was the start of Blizzard doing phasing and you could easily see the problems. But they still kept doing it after.
Yeah I did the quests too back in the day and I’ve never wanted to do them again lmao 
That’s demonstrably false.
While Wrath was the best xpac ever, the leveling zones were a bit dull overall.
That’s one of the few places I enjoyed the dungeons more than the zones.
