Always used to stay away from it because of how much it has going on.
Gotta say though. It’s probably the most engaging class I’ve played. Having something for almost every situation has also really got me contributing more to party play.
10/10. Aside from wishing they’d give a little love to some of their visuals, I’m really enjoying the class and spec.
It’s such a fun spec. I love its abilities and how many we have as well as its utility. We’re getting some visual updates next patch!
From a pve point of view, I’m having a blast. I’ve been doing delves (lvl 8’s) and even did a mythic. I haven’t wandered into M+ yet, haven’t got the ability to to guarantee I won’t leave the group at a moments notice and brick a key. But yeah, great fun.
Its extremely fun and satisfying and I’ve been through all variation of Enhancement changes since Cataclysm Now at this point, getting procs off and stacking up various buffs to then get another off. Anything to get you to spend that Maelstrom to do an psuedo-execute ability through Lightning Bolt (Or Tempest as Stormbringer) or Chain Lightning.
Though my only gripe this expansion so far is how weirdly squishy they are and Healing Surge not doing its job either. While it hits like a truck when it does, I just can’t help but feel like I’m made of glass after taking on 3 or so average enemies.
Honestly if you tried it any sooner you would have probably hated it. This patch is treating them very good. A few more quality of life changes for totemic and we might get close to vanilla/cataclysm shaman peak.

Enh is the only way to play. I’ll take a good ole enhancement shaman over an elemental shaman any day of the week!

check out tiggle or stankie they really help a lot. Plus, the discord channel. Stankie in particular is very active on that channel.

I mean i try hard i can make it work fine up to my lvl anyways since im no glad player but i also play ret paladin and seeing the ease with more payoff kinda hurts.

Gotcha i can find it, i remember tiqqle from my old shaman days stankie seems to be all pve stuff so it doesnt reallt interest me i know enhance is in a good spot pve wise
yeah he’s more PVE than PVP. He does some pvp but way more pve. There was one other guy who does more PVP but I can’t remember his channel name. I’ll keep looking for it.
Gotta watch Saul. He streams, and has a guide up on YouTube. He’s 1 of the 2 best enhancement shamans ever.
