No one likes it when this spec over performs.
Every hunter’s scorpion pet deals 90% of their dps, all they do in PvP is set it on you and run away
and it can kill you faster than he can, and on top of that they just melt raid bosses which is not even fun to compete with them on dps with because it’s a borderline AFK class that also is the best DPS in the game so what’s the point of any other class.
This spec needs to be nerfed to the ground, it has literally ruined every aspect of SoD.
Just remove all skills from hunters entirely, imo. We should only survive with what we can do with our bare hands.
The area wide kings buff is more than enough for every raid to want a hunter anyway.

Scorpids have Scorpid Poison, which “Inflicts 15 Nature damage over 10 sec. Effect can stack up to 5 times on a single target.”
It’s probably more realistically around 70% as BM, and about half or so of that is from melee hits.
Lightning breath from Wind Serpents “Breathes lightning, instantly dealing 36 to 40 Nature damage to a single target.” could use that instead for instant dmg, rather than dot dmg from poison.
Anyway, hunters do have a pretty good kit at 25, and it’s not like nobody saw that BM would be good this phase, based on the runes that were available…
Anyway, what would you like to see? I mean “nerf hunters” sure. Nerf them all the way to the bottom below priests! OK, and then will you be happy?
Or, what will you complain about then? Are you actually signaling your joy in having something to complain about? So, really this post could also have been titled, “Hurray Hunters! Thanks to Scorpid Poison ticking so hard, I’m happy to complain!”

your logic is very dense and immature (probably a manchild) for thinking hunter is the only class thats strong right now 
Dont be asking for nerfs, ask for other classes to get tools to bring themselves up to the overperforming class level. Nerfing is a terrible cycle and needs to be broken.
This is the worst kind of logic and usually doesn’t work, and is far more effort than necessary. Why try to buff every other class in the game just because ONE spec might be over performing, when you could just, you know, bring that one spec in line with everyone else? Buffing everyone else to compensate usually results in someone else overperforming because the buffs don’t actually balance as well as intended. If you already know who the outlier is, fix the outlier.
The logs i see are 50% of a hunters dps and this aligns with what I usually get too.

Like any other dot that can be easily refreshed (corruption with everlasting affliction,ignite, scorpid poison, etc) snapshotting becomes a thing.
Snapshotting is classic mechanic that has been abused since it was discovered. I am not saying it is a good mechanic, but it exists.
Snapshotting is most the problem here, not necessarily scorpids
At this point as a hunter you have to be intentionally playing poorly to not use a scorpion, except if you’re in a raid and someone is already taking one
