I mean it is an expansion meta achievement, not to be all hashed out at once, there are annoying ones like the storm one, but the rares are honestly not bad.
I almost have the SL one as well and i was hardly around for that one either. Pays to have alts lol.
They are the same, the rate at which they are out are not though, which is why most people are peeved about this one. It used to be 2 storms at a time instead of 1

I just do what is fun me or what is minimally tolerable/worth it so I can get some collectible mount etc
for example i basically skiped shadowlands bc i hate having oribos airport and those ugly and dispatached zones, no mount or cosmetic will ever bring me to shadowlands, iam not doing the meta achiev for this one
This is true, but I got most of the achievement done this week.
After spending 4k currency to get that buff, getting Handy Notes AND rare scanner, only found 3. 3 chests. Oh, and the Trial of Storms was stuck at 0:00. So yea, I am going with my original statement.
Taivan may be a good boy, but he aint worth this frustration.
Why did they chose to do this? The way the MoP treasures worked was just fine. You didnt have compete with others, they were your own treasures to find.
I would like to see some type of change, either reduce the number needed for the Meta, or change how they despawn after so many people, reduce the price of the Buff, make the buff actually work right, instead of having the chest not visible if someone loots it. Something.

I agree with this. I just disagree with the idea of springing it on the players near the end of the expansion when it’s only available for a limited time and much of it is locked behind RNG. They need to make it clear on day 1, “this is only available this expansion, so if you miss out it’s on you.”
I don’t even know if this one is limited either, but I definitely remember the Shadowlands meta ruffling a few feathers due to the abom factory.
Are these Meta Achievements permanent or will they be removed soon?
And they also aren’t new. From the meta for the holiday events to the meta for timeless isle, to several others, they are all pretty involved and are meant to take time.
I don’t mind the big metas, it gives me something to do. I took like a year off so I got catching up to do, but there’s no need to rush it. They did bring back the SL one with a mount of it’s own, so it’s not like the DF one is going away probably.
I havent played FF16 yet because not on PC but Torgal is so cute and way better then Taivan.
Right now it seems like it’s not going anywhere. I suppose they could announce that it will go away with TWW launch. There’s not a title attached to this one so I guess they could add a title or something or maybe they are changing the meta achieves to not be only during the expac.
I would probably do it if not for the dragon facing. I am not sure I can do those other modes and to waste time on all that other and get stuck on a few dragon races would be enough to make me quit.
