I have heard about advertisers pulling from X because of the CEO’s trolling activity and the surge of political toxicity on the platform, in which could hinder X’s revenue and it would go out of business in the foreseeable future.
Good, good. That toxic dumpster fire of a site should never have been made in the first place and it ushered a dark age on Humanity. When it shuts down it will bring hope to Humankind.

X is a cesspit of nonsense and toxicity. I support free speech if it is productive and helpful to others. Using strong inflammatory language to get people upset over things they hold dear is free speech, but it ruins the point of free speech as an excuse to be toxic to others.
I am not in favor of silencing those who spew unpopular and controversial views, however, they must provide insight on what point does the person have. If it’s to tick people off, then it has no point.

People think he’s fighting the system, which technically he is. But he’s fighting the system to get more tax cuts and regulations gutted for people like himself. He’s not fighting the system for you and me. I guess you can lump Donald Trump into the same category. Yes, he’s fighting 'the system," but again, he’s fighting it for himself and his elite buddies. The things he advocates in public are not the things he does when in power.
He gave me internet when no other cable/phone company would and it’s good internet unlike the trash you get from Dish or DirectTV.
He makes amazing cars and I love not being a slave to the gas pump. I legit have no idea what the price of gas is atm because I go home every night and plug my car in.
His company is also providing me with solar panels for my home, which last I checked was good for the environment. Can’t wait to get the battery back up so I can stop being a slave to the power company too.
I don’t use X because I think all forms of social media is garbage but this has been true for years before Musk bought it. Like I said in other threads: Twitter was always a hive of wretched scum and villainy and I’m not sure why it’s suddenly a problem now that he owns it.
Literally everything you discussed (other than the internet) is being done better and cheaper by other companies, but because you live in the USA you only hear about Elon.
The only thing I give him credit for, and it’s a big one, is pushing SpaceX into becoming a great company.
What’s a better electric car? Who has better solar panels? And what company provides internet to rural communities? Please tell me this one because I looked and if I wanted to download something in a few hours instead of a few days, Starlink was it.

A lot of the toxic people on twitter were originally from Tumblr. And Tumblr has been FANTASTIC with those guys gone. I don’t want them coming back.
While I agree with you about Musk making Twitter worse, I hope it survives. Horror fans such as myself have built a decent community there, and we wouldn’t want to have to find each other and start over again on another platform.
