Earthfury has a pretty even population. I’d say slightly Alliance leaning, but Horde love their flight points.
Thats nice, I may move my warrior there when transfers come out then
I can assure you this isn’t something only alliance are experiencing, even on horde dominated servers - which you’ll soon discover if you keep playing the horde character. I couldn’t even quest in Western Plaguelands last night on Arugal OCE because an entire army of alliance would instantly descend upon me any time I went near a road. I just landed at the Marshal’s Refuge FP not long ago and a squad of 10 alliance instantly jumped me. This server is something like 60/40 horde, by the way.
I haven’t even been able to quest for more than a few minutes at a time over the last couple days without getting ganked by a party of alliance while I’m low mana killing quest mobs. But this is something I kind of expected and it doesn’t bother me too much.
No matter what faction you are, it still feels like you’re getting completely dominated, because you don’t see the other side where your own faction is also camping FPs in another zone.
Sure Bruce
Just flew to the horde camp in Felwood (Bloodvenom post) to find the flight master dead, so I couldn’t fly back out. Decided to log out and wait for him to respawn since it seemed the alliance were gone.
Logged back in 5 minutes later, the camp is completely overrun with alliance and I get instantly mobbed by like 10 of them the moment I logged in.
But playing horde is like being on a PVE server, right?
Yeah can you even say you’re playing PvP as a horde on Skeram*? What do you do all day just run around and circle jerk each other? LOL
Please come back to me when you have to die 10 times to get into BRM at any point in the day or week instead of some random low level outpost where there is no fear of retaliation
Edit: okay that was a little wrong, felwood is higher level and close to org but I am not gonna argue with you that horde have it as bad as alli because it is so freakin obvious that isnt the case its not worth discussing
That exact scenario literally happened to me yesterday, except it was at the Bulwark right outside UC, on the border of Tirisfal Glades and WPL. I couldn’t even move to get to Scholomance because there were so many alliance around ready to jump me the second I got back to my corpse.
Also, I was just ganked by a night elf druid while I was typing this message, when I tabbed out for 30 seconds while running along a road in Winterspring.
You’re wrong about this, but I don’t expect you to reflect and admit that you’re wrong, because you’re so caught up in your own experience that you can’t even consider what it might look like from the other side.
Yeah, and I got killed by a skull warrior today in Ashenvale. Oh noes, my first death by an alliance in the week and a half since I created my hunter…SEE ITS THE SAME GUYS HORDE HAVE IT BAD TOO
Wish you luck on your new “PvE server”. Try to choose one with a higher population so its at least a server.
Alliance: Every inch of every zone is hard camped by raids of horde.
Horde:
Congratulations on your ability to cherry pick one line out of a comment where I just described my experience of being camped by raids of alliance, literally on the previous line.
I did this to people with one other mage in Scholo, so complaining about a time when 2-3 people were killing you while waiting for their Scholo tank to show up is certainly not in the same galaxy of what’s going on now.
This wasn’t your average run-of-the-mill skirmish outside the Scholomance door, I’m talking about multiple 20+ man raids of Alliance patrolling the roads in WPL, instantly descending upon any Horde that tries to move.
When I gave up and decided it wasn’t worth it, I couldn’t even get past the Bulwark to get back to UC without multiple corpse runs because it was that heavily camped.
What realm? Horde have Bigglesworth on absolute lockdown. I WISH I could run into Alliance that could put up a fight.
Arugal (Oceanic). I realise this might not be typical of every realm though, it’s basically one of the megaservers that only just had layering removed earlier this week.
I’m Horde, 60, farming MC/Ony for weeks geared out, and I’m honestly having an existential crisis over the fact (FACT) that BG queues are going to be an absolute disaster. I may have to just give it all up because the Alliance are already running off our Realm.
I’m leveling a Paladin on the side, but I’ve got friends I want to stay with, and they are all Horde only.
It sucks.
BGs will be cross realm. Im expecting between 10-15 min queues for horde based on a larger number of pvpers overall
I’m not going to a PVE server. I just re-rolled Horde on a PVP server.
