I had no idea what I was in for when I finally decided to try remix. I thought it would be just a re-do of the expansion with some stuff cut out.
This is not the case.
This is Legion on fast forward, everything is glowing and mobs drop coins as your showered in boxes and gear.
It’s nuts…AND I LOVE IT!
I regret judging it so harshly and recommend for anyone on the fence to just…just give it a try…
(Oh and the super nice Mogs you can get with all that bronze is super nice!)

Yeah Remixes are a fun way to re-explore an expansion. Would love to see a Shadowlands one to make that cosmetic grind trivial or a Wrath one because Wrath was also awesome.

Yeah it rules. I did play mop, but I had forgotten just how fun remix is. Thank goodness for the ptr players and the extremely vocal feedback on the earlier iterations, because this could have been a huge disappointment.

Its terribly boring, no challenge and all faceroll. I gave it a couple hours and just cant understand the appeal. Just not my cup of tea i guess.
For me its fun as well. But lets see how M+ and raids will be that might change it
I wasn’t going to touch it but then went to check it out.
Saw how easy it is to get Bronze and collect mounts I didn’t have since I wasn’t around when Legion was current expansion.
Thanks to that I’m almost done with my 350 mount achieve and I am loving how fast everything is.
Heck even the dungeon group I went and did people were chill and now foolishness going on and, I hate running group content since SL.

this is my first remix and it’s really fun! i was worried about if bronze was going to be hard to get but it’s so easy and the mounts are cool
it’ll be even better when they fix the lag

Remix is at it’s core a collectathon with the side benefit of the characters getting insanely, insanely powerful as time goes on; during the last remix players were soloing whole Raids at heroic teir because their stats got so insanely high that like… we hit hard caps. Not soft caps, but actual “There is no more up with your stats, stop putting more points into crit”.
That was one of my hangups as well…I was worried it would be like 100 days and I’d be able to get one thing…but I can get a ton of mounts and finish my Mythic collections as well.
I confess being ‘showered with stuff’ kinda feels good and a nice pace change from retail.

I would LOVE to have a Shadowlands one for the sole purpose of experiencing Torghast again. Though it may not be the most popular opinion, Torghast was fun and felt like the first attempt at the Remix concept.
“Your Chaos Bolt costs no soul shards and instead 10% of your maximum health”. Combine that with 200%+ haste and you’re a cannon blasting EVERYTHING that remotely looked at you funny.

Did you do the Heroic World tier? You get smacked if you’re not careful.
Nope…not gonna try it until the tail end of the event…I’m getting plenty of rewards right now…and it’s fun having my guy be super powered.
I feel ya. I also loved Torghast and just played it for casual fun and the cool Tmogs you could get with it…I still do.
But a super charged ultra fast version, with more random spells, and trinket effects would be a ton of fun!

It was a lot of fun today. Looks like they slew the lag monster and patched some bugs.
I love the remix modes, but Legion makes you have to go into dungeons in order to complete your campaign quests (for the achievement and transmog reward). I have been spoiled to follower dungeons. In Legion Remix, tanks are on ultra super fast mode, so be prepared to barely be able to keep up. Last dungeon I was in, most of the group fell behind at some point and the tank acted like we were all the problem.

Considering we are going back to Northrend, maybe that will be the next remix.
Not seeing the fast part. I keep having to go back and forth to turn in these research quests. It’s annoying.
Remix for MoP was one of my favorite 3-month stretches in the history of WoW. It’s a great way to increase access to rare drops, acquaint people with the story of older expansions, give incentive to level alts, and also just let people cut loose and have fun.
10/10 concept for sure
They do give you those teleportation cards that you can use to go back to that place and then go back to where you came from.
