FF14 Threads belong in off-topic. And get moved there regularly.
If you want to talk about FF14 on a popular forum that gets alot of traffic, try their forum, I’m sure plenty of people would provide your desperately needed attention there.
Yeah, I only started FFXIV a couple of weeks ago, and it has been fun to play.

Even after the thread is moved, everybody who participated who didn’t mute, still gets notifications, and the thread is found easier, so we’ll just keep doing that.

I still stand by my decision to play FF games as single player, because those are amazing. Just like with ESO. I’d rather play TES6
if this was a thread made once in a blue moon, I wouldn’t care.
But we get FF14 advertisements from people like Dalrond and the OP and others day in and day out and it gets obnoxious.

Same here. Just hit 160cp on my templar. I must have forgotten to come to the WOW forums and let everyone know. Thats what we do here right.
The very fact that you’re responding to this thread shows that you very much care about peoples’ opinions of another game.
If you didn’t care, you would have simply have moved on rather than giving this topic a bump to the front page.

Not could happen, it does happen. I’m someone who likes to read what people have to say about different things - even if it’s about a different MMO. It’s not like it’s going to steal away from my personal experiences with games. I also agree with you in regards to people clicking on titles they don’t want to read about. Like… why? If I don’t want to hear more about something, I sure as heck won’t go out of my way to do just that lol
Maybe because they are getting a bit tired of the constant flow of FF posts? This has all only happened in the last few months because of ActiBlizzard’s problems and so many following certain streamers over to it. (Despite the fact that Square Enix seems to have had its own issues with mistreating employees; then again the gaming industry as a whole is a bit iffy.)
Its not really a matter of making the posts there - its that OT posts are put there after a while by the mods. I guess its more obvious because it happens more often.
Spam can be ignored. You are not obligated to post in spam threads.
I occasionally come on the WoW forums to let everyone know I logged into ESO to level my riding speed.
That’s about all I do now there.

And “bad taste” in video games? lol. Opinions are always subjective. Gotta love the WoW fans who gotta make sure that everybody else knows how terrible every other game out there is, while being unable to look in the mirror, lol.
“Being paid by Squeenix” … you do realize that the absolutely humongous influx of players into XIV is actually causing massive problems with their infrastructure and the semiconductor shortage is making it very hard for them to meet the demands placed on the servers?
They aren’t paying people to advertise. The game is just that good, that everybody wants to play and there’s not enough room for all the players.
As i stated above. I’m personally just responding to people talking to me. And hoping the admins move this to the off-topic where it belongs quicker. 
personally I wish blizzard would crack down on habitual offenders of posting in the wrong forums. If it’s not youtuber spam it’s people spamming about how much they love playing FF14 while spammin’ the Wow forums.
Wow’s got it’s issues, but it’s still a hell of a lot better than FF14 ever will be.
I’d say enjoy your garbo game but you seem to be spending more time on the forums of WoW than playing it, so I doubt you’re actually playin’ just stirring the pot.
Plus side I get to know people I can mute on the forums and know nothing of value was lost.
Im about the same level on my Orc sorcerer (fun fact that you can make an Orc in ESO).
Yeah, lets start an ESO chat. You taking part in the current Event? Ive been getting lots of goodies in Craglorn today. I do love my Sorcerer, she is pretty powerful. And ive got way too interested in Scrying, and dont even get me started on searching for housing patterns…
Be careful. If your not you might get whipped off your mount after that 1% boost per day 
Actually I’ve been doing the ole Dolmen runs in the desert the past couple days and then just running and collecting for professions. Been getting alot of year one caches just farming for alchemy.
Seems like this is an advertisement for FF14, & should be reported as spam, just saying.
