No it sounds like class/item balance is the only needed step and not arbitrarily segregating queues. If people enjoy the lower level brackets they should be free to use the experience eliminator for its intended purpose and be able to pvp with everyone in that bracket just like everyone else.

Lol this is a huge exaggeration… As I stated the boas are barely stronger than leveling gear. Infact the trinkets I’ve been getting while leveling since TBC have been consistently better than boa trinkets.

While a twink rocks full raid gear because his buddy can carry him through a raid and give him everything. Rock full gems outside of that.

It is night and day difference. Twinks>>>>>>>>>boas and boas>>normal gear.

I’d give all the twinks the option, completely disable all gems or have separate ques. What would you chose?

And separating xp off and on doesn’t remove that gear. What’s stopping me from turning xp off, farming that gear, gem and enchant, turn xp on and spending 9 levels in xp on with it. Would it be less offensive if I had xp on while I slaughtered players?

Fix the busted gear and stop placing the blame on an xp off or on toggle and asking for separation.

BOAs scale as you level. Add gems to them and they would be just fine.

The Set Bonus is disabled if that’s what you’re referring too. However, the gear is comparable stat wise and only the gem slots are what separates heirloom gear from these pieces.

3 BOA pieces for hunter (shoulder, leg, weapon) are strong at low levels when using enchants you can’t enchant yourself and are mailed from a higher level character or using the trade glitch (which I don’t do). It can be done by xp on or xp off characters.

12 Marks of Honor, full epic set with several gem slots.

1 Mark of honor or AH.

This vendor sells 125 different items, Trinkets, Rings and Full Armor with Gem slots.
All reasonably priced for Gold.

This is taking into consideration that your character at lvl 70 will have nothing to equip.
Seems fairly easy to make a “geared” character if somebody really wanted to in a hurry.
Would you not agree?

I’d be okay with separation or fixing the gear. Do either. Right now though I can see why it’s frustrating.

I also said I don’t know if twinks want their gear wrecked. My twink group of friends back in the day enjoyed facing other twink groups.

Um what? No. Don’t add gems, we don’t need brand new people getting hard stomped. Boas are fine, a non issue as I pointed out. It’s the other crap that is.

I didn’t look but in this bg there at least 2 out of 10. So that’s already more than your suggested 90% lol. He two shot me in my boas and 1 shot our poor priest healer in nothing but leveling gear.

That’s beside the point? Even if there was only 10% of players that are brand new. Why are we catering to the ego stroking 10% of twinks?

I said 90% of players in low level BGs are twinks or heirloomed toons… leaving 10% to be actual new players without access to boas (and that’s being generous) Heirloom gear has the same, if not better, stats than dungeon gear that twinks use, it’s the gem stacking that is causing twinks to be twinks.
