“Between the Eyes has no cooldown”
Hell yeah! Now that’s a bottom row talent I can get behind…
“…when used from stealth”
Blah.
Outlaw isn’t about jumping in and out of stealth. That’s Subtlety. What is all this stealth related crap doing in my pirate spec?
I get it, sneaking around is cool. Ambushing people is cool, and should definitely be there as an opener, and as an escape stealth is also cool.
But really, as outlaw, the idea of ducking into stealth with max combo points to do my finisher, is weird.
Just, let the talent remove the cooldown period. The extra dispatch damage can go as a trade off, if keeping it would make the talent to op.
Just let me forget about that constantly awkward feeling 45 second cooldown.
Or, if you HAVE to keep the cooldown because rogues would just simply be too strong without it, buff the move in some other way that doesn’t involve being invisible.
But then again… there’s a lot of weird stuff here, that I guess is designed for people who aren’t me to enjoy.
Like, keep it rolling… a 7 minute cooldown that extends your roll the bones buff by 30 seconds. Uh, ok. I don’t really like doing roll the bones. I’ll press it sometimes, but don’t put any thought into what the dice actually do to my character.
Oh well though. I’m sure outlaw will be cool someday.
Eh, one more thing.
There’s a talent that will occasionally let me use Ambush outside of stealth.
No.
Ambush is on my STEALTH bar, along with Pickpocket, Sap, And all that stuff. I don’t want Ambush taking up a spot on my non-stealth bar, that is always inactive, except for every once in a while when it is. Maybe change the ability to turn Sinister Strike into Ambush? Or something?
Really though, it does feel weird having one combo point generator and like, 4 or 5 finishers. But that’s just the rotation I would have to get used to.
