I gain 91k honor in a week and only go from Rank 3 to Rank 4?

As horde I did 80k honor in an off week and got half a bar of rank 4.
90k by alliance standards is piddly. That’s like, what, a day of pvp?

I did 117k in a day and that’s low compared to some, still got my rank 10 and now I don’t have to worry again.
If you play on a supersized realm as Alliance, you would have needed around 500k-600k honor to move up from r3 to r5.
Who in cheezit’s name has the time to grind this much honor???
91k honor took me like 12-14 hours played. That’s a lot of PVP time in a week. Is Blizzard saying I have to no life neckbeard this thing ??

I did 650k and got 40% of a rank. Or at least I will get that 40% when the ranks update.

Play on a server that has relatively few Alliance and the rankings grind could be a little less brutal.
Yes . It was a major flaw in the PvP system in vanilla and it’s what we’ve got today. The tryhards, neckbeards, and nolifers will always grind this out and always do better because the PvP system is time-based and not skill-based. Most of the people above you in rank are probably worse.

You say that, but unskilled players don’t win games.
8k honor an hour for 24 hours is worth less than 25k honor an hour for 16 hours.
So, if you kept grinding 90k honor/week every week, youd probably eventually move up to r5-6, it would just be slow going and at the 5-6 point the decay would get too bad to move up on that amount.
I am shocked you actually ranked up from that little honor. Especially being alliance

standing 1 on my server is a warrior has 1.35 million honor last week before rollover and on most other servers alliance side you need 1.5 million honor to get standing 1. 91k honor factoring in decay on alliance side wont get you rank 6 or 7
horde side you need much much lower because everyone there has a que (actually freedom in a way) and isn’t forced on alliance side to be on a non-stop AV hell for months if you don’t bot if you want the epic pvp gear
doubt he will get rank 6, he might hard stuck below it due to alliance having instant que and everyone need so much honor to rank. (AV hell non stop)
Ahh, sorry if I insulted the nolifer crowd, not my intention. There are other topics and threads for that. But it certainly doesn’t take skill to follow a half premade into battle and win or sit AFK in AV and win. Heck, a premade following an actual strategy can be worse in PvP and still win instead of the 10 knuckleheads on the other side rushing alone and aimless. Doesn’t take skill to win. Takes time, and a little strategy. You could be one of the worst players ever and accomplish that.

Blizzard isnt saying this. The community on your server is saying this.
Getting rank points is based on how far up the list of honor farmed, on your server, each week.
So if you are on a very competitive server Yes you will have to no life neckbeard the game to get anywhere.
