I was falselybanned for buying strath boosts plz help

I think blizzs official reason would be i gave gold to ppl who sell gold. So i was banned

BUT my ban was perma. People who purchased gold are getting temp bans. And i was purchasing a boost something blizz says is legal. How can i know a person advertising boosting is a goldseller

Also I NEVER RECEIVED GOLD. YET IM PERMABANNED. HOW IS THIS FAIR

I think you will want to go to the customer support forum, you will not hear back from anyone in this channel that can do anything other then offer good/bad advice. Also while nothing you are admitting to is bannable, it’s quite possible you could have been involved in other activities, as nobody in this channel has access to any real logs or data. That said, if you actually got a permanent ban, then your account wasn’t banned for giving some gold to a warlock or paying for a Strat boost.

Were you involved in the recent use of the exploit to try and farm gold buying and selling boons? That should be bannable since it was knowingly using an exploit.

Please don’t link this in the classic forums, it has nothing to do with classic and just confuses people(which you know). There is no multirealm boosting middle men in classic(you can’t group across realms in classic)

Yep more people need to know about this

That is meant for Retail, not Classic. People have been selling dungeon boosts in Classic for years since that Blue post was made with no repercussions.

Now, if Blizz suddenly decides it applies to Classic…they need to tell players that. And if it does, that’s a very recent decision.

But it doesn’t. This guy wasn’t banned for buying a boost, and players don’t get banned for selling them. I appreciate you trying to scare players from partaking in boosting since it’s so lame and harmful to the game. But it’s not against the rules.

But the bit of your post where they say you were some how involved in selling wow assets for real money isn’t the same as you buying gold.

They almost never ban permanently, but when they do it’s usually something legit that was done. Have you ever sold wow related Items, carries or anything for real world currency at any point ever?

If so they got ya

Brah this guy just got banned for boosting

I don’t see them having a need for it. Retail got this since these guild collections were getting huge. I could hit my 2-3 servers…and see the same exact ad spam. Copy pasta word for word.

And then they opened more x-realm transactions. so those setups that buillt up several million on several servers had more ways to consolidate.

the closest this game version gets is probably black lotus or devilsaur skin mafias with pvp collusion. Or other items people go nuts over.

Its not exacly being the top carry guild on 4 servers each making say 10 million gold a month lol.

You RMT you pay the fine.
Ban them all.

Never

Ive legit never traded gold or anything on thar 3 week old account. other than buying a few strath boosts and warlock summons

I admit maybe this happened

My account that got banned this morning was 3 weeks old. Ive done nothing bannable in it

I admit 4 weeks ago i got banned on my main for buying gold once only cuz i heard goldbuyers never get banned. I accept that ban.

Then i made this new account that was banned 3 weeks later. Im using the same computer. I promise to god i did nothing bannable on my new account but maybe blizzard banned me due to my flagged machine ID and the fact that i gave 40 gold to a goldselling booster

Ive now just purchased another account and NOW i will just never trade gold EVER

take the L and move on. You wanted the lazy way and you got caught

No, no everyones lets not be hasty. This ban is definitely justified.

You’re so quick

I didnt do anything bannable… but now ill just play my new account and never trade gold ever

you gave gold to a mage using hack and stuff to boost you. so yea it’s bannable.

If that’s a new account, how are you making enough gold to pay for boosts / warlock summons?

Hmm

dont feed the troll. OP bought gold than use bought gold to pay a hacking mage in stratholme lmao

No he didn’t.
The guy has already admitted to buying gold if you read his posts.

They took his gold and gear and gave him a tiny ban.
24H or something instead of the normal week.

That boosting report is for Arena/BG Boosting on retail.

I think.
I might be for Overwatch if they use the same reporting system.

Of course people will never believe me but I know the truth that I did nothing bannable on my new account I paid about 45 gold for summons and boosts but whatever no one will believe me and blizzard is a stupid company that bans flagged computers even if they did nothing wrong . so on my new account I’m just going to never trade gold ever. I will still enjoy the game but now I know how stupid blizzards automated banning system is

I was level 55 after spending no gold basically the whole time so I had about 200 gold to have fun with. I spend it once and I got banned
