I WAS excited for WotLK

Because waiting in a 90 minute queue for a tank is going to be different?

exaggerations

The Anti LFD crew will tell everyone it’s about the social impact as to why they don’t want LFD in the expansion.

But it’s really all about their earning gold via boosting and selling Tank services.

If you can find fast groups and tanks via the LFD then there is less need for boosts and greedy tanks hence less gold made.

Also potentially less gold bought via RMT and less GDKP sales.

Man that’s some commitment……

Riiight. Because everyone is still talking about that incredible wowkiller “Star Trek Online…”:roll_eyes::roll_eyes:

Anyone else pleasantly surprised at the lack of P2W on the Reboot server? Nexon just needs to something about the NA servers struggling to keep up.

Eve Online has soooo much potential in that it kept me hooked for a few years even though i’m not a fan of PvP focused games. Also Pandemic Horde ftw. Finally won Eve though.

I remember getting Age of Conan at launch and being so disappointed with it that my total play time was probably less than 8hrs.

my point was MMO’s over 10 years old isn’t that uncommon

No 2.0 vs 2.1 itemization changes
Absolutely no balance patches as we always played the latest patch
TBC specifically, T4+5 were both released at launch, but not on TBCC.
A lot of reputation factions were locked until later phases.
Reputation PvP gear was locked until further patches.
We even got new races in prepatch instead of release.

Also, it’s not 2002 anymore. Us, as gamers, have become a lot of “advanced” in gaming, not to mention WoW as a whole. Not to mention that OG Naxx took a few months to clear, meanwhile on Classic it took top guild under an hour.

The only reason they are killing RDF is to sell more boosts.

I am not keen on wearing this tinfoil hat, but I think it has to do with them not wanting to build RDF from the ground up to work with WOTLK. The Classic dev team put very little effort into the game, and what work they currently do, is always a buggy mess or doesn’t work right for a few weeks after it goes live.

Could be. Perhaps. Multi billion companies struggle to hire an extra developer these days.

Nonetheless, PvP queue should be removed as well. Go fly to Arathi Basin and queue there in person.

cya in wrath anyway

Yea… and most of them are f2p

Hey OP, you mad that you gotta whisper someone to get into a dungeon now?
lmao, best change ever.

Thats all they needed to hear, wotlk is saved, ty!

the whole anti-lfd crowd are out of touch with reality. LFD being in the game doesn’t even hurt people like them since they’re all running content with their guilds anyways. it’s just another way to gatekeep content from people so they can feel better about themselves.

Back in Wrath I got the all the heroic dungeon achievements done through LFD and didn’t have to use voice chat to do it. they aren’t hard and they’re perfect for LFD.

I missed the part where they aren’t anti social now…

What? All your friendships aren’t based on raid logs and how much tier you have?!

My last post on the topic.

I was also looking forward to a mostly authentic and static final patch state Wrath experience for the lifetime of the xpac. Now that it’s obvious they feel that making arbitrary changes to suit their mood is back on the table, I have zero interest in playing FrankenWrath.

Fool me once, …

Ah well, couple years ago, I didn’t think I’d be playing WoW again at all, so there’s that.

Sucks even more so with some of the messed up realms populations and faction imbalances (picked the wrong server and wrong faction and there are times you won’t see more than 10 max level people for your faction online) but also not particularly shocked, the current dev’s feel the need to destroy everything they touch it seems.

I have had several groups in the last week and not a word was said in party chat…we zone in and do the fights with 0 social interaction…how is this different?
