I WAS excited for WotLK

I agree, I am here to have fun, which is why I want the Dungeon Finder put in. I want to have fun, not sit in a city looking for a group for cumulative hours on end.

They have said its going to be in the game. All they said about changes is that they are looking into making some changes. Nothing set in stone what they will be. But jumping to “Heavily Restricted” is really just going full worst case scenario.

Most likely change with Dualspec is making you have to be in a rested area to switch. Which I would hardly call “Heavily Restricted” and if they do more then that then we can circle back around to this topic at that time.

Toxic as hell. How is this not blatant trolling? Oh of course because blizzard allows any kind of harassment and/or bullying as long as it takes the side of there viewpoint.

Youre becoming incredibly overwrought based on what are almost certainly incorrect assumptions. At the very least you just dont know so you should save your outrage for some future point when you do.

That was literally almost a decade ago lol… Thats quite a long time for a video game/MMO. In fact, Wow is probably one of the only games that can even say they were around a decade ago. Its not exactly surprising that theyve changed their minds on a few things OVER A DECADE.

Dual spec will be restricted, probably in a manner very similar to what you described.

LFD will almost certainly exist but just wont be x-realm (sorry low poppers.)

The most ideal situation would be adding a fail safe or something so that it would only go x-realm after say 5-10 minutes so that low pop realms dont get entirely screwed but large servers would almost never be affected… but that sounds like more work than theyre probably inclined to do

You weren’t paying much attention at all, and in TBC’s case, are just plain blind/deaf.

Yeah, what a real mystery.

You don’t really seem to understand…much…about what classic has been like.

It’s ok to make that guess. People can speculate all they want. But there is zero evidence to back up that guess. It’s pulled right out of you az. BB has been very clear that lfd is not coming and that it’s extremely unlikely he will change his mind. You’re basically calling him a liar with your guess.

one of the counter arguments is that people would be sitting in the city queing, as if its any different then sitting in the city looking for people for an hour.

I’d be out questing or farming. Something I can easily do if I’m in a queue and difficult to do if I’m staring at the lfg channel or spamming it.

No… What he said was…

“we are planning improvements to the looking for group tool. We want it to be easy to find people who want to group, without making it automatically teleport you into cross-realm groups.
Hopefully we can find a balance.”

Cool story tho? :man_shrugging:

Looking for group tool. Not the lfd. He very specifically said it would not be in the game and when questioned he said it’s unlikely he would change his mind as many people are cheering his decision so he’s convinced he made the right decision. Unless the changes made to the looking for a group tool has some means to automatically form a group with a queue it’s not the lfd. Guess all you want, guess the changes to the looking for a group tool will be the lfd in all but name and without cross realm, you’re still just pulling that guess out of your as.

I do not believe you have a master degree with this writing skill

It’s a meme, calm down. Even OP understood and liked it.

It does get silly how blizz is making more changes compared to classic vanilla and TBCC  what a great classic experience :cow::popcorn:

See you in Northrend!

classic wrath will be dead by phase 2 and there is no point to waste any money on a boost and sub for a dead raid log game…lol.

No changes, changes, some changes. It’s all rhetoric. It’s not really a good position to take on anything as it locks you into false perceptions of what it means. No changes was a marketing strategy that blizzard really didn’t have a handle on when they went with it.

Most of the community quickly abandoned the no changes nonsense after seeing what classic was like for a few months. You’re trying to use the failed rhetoric as a means to justify your desires for the game. While I agree LFD should be in wrath, I can’t really support this type of argument as it misses the point entirely.

I’m not reading that, but I agree.
