I was drunk and didn't know the reindeer buff autodismounted. So it's just a bug

Not going to lie, Blizzard making it so I can’t help out others while they close the Auction house is a d*** move…

(for reference I’ve been mounting my Brutosaur mount to help people out and afking, Blizzard must’ve implemented something to auto-dismount my auction house mount because I’m literally clicking nothing and I have never been auto dismounted like this).

Sorry about the audio, had my playlist going when I recorded.
And sorry if this is some sort of bug, but I have never had this issue in my life and can;t help but feel it’s intentional. That said if there’s any evidence pointing to the contrary I will retract my comment.

Edit: it still auto-dismounts me 1 hour after the auction house lock out.

It’s no bug. It’s entirely intentional. It was working just fine then they began to disallow it.

It’s still doing it consistently. Will keep the thread moderately updated for a bit, then going to bed.

Wait a sec…are we seriously complaining that the mount AH doesn’t work when the AH system is shut down? Is that like complaining that my television doesn’t work when the electricity is knocked out? Is it like complaining that the pizza place closed for the night won’t deliver me a pizza? Is it like complaining that the mailman won’t deliver my mail on a holiday when the post office is closed?

Please tell me I’m missing something here.

The AH system is shut down for some party. That fine. But for them to disallow others who want to keep up the auction house for others? That’s a jerk move. If you disagree, that’s your opinion, but I feel we should be able to use our mounts, especially when we burn 5million gold for them.

So yes you’re missing something, and that is a Brutosaur

I could understand if you just wanted to be on your mount.

But having a brutosaur in no way should allow you or anyone else access to something in the game that is currently offline.

It’s NOT offline though. There’s an Auction House party in the main hub, the less popular hub works just fine. There is an auction house working just fine in Org and I’m sure Stormwind so explain why I continue to get auto-dismounted?

The Brutosaur is tied to the same exact AH system that is shut down everywhere else. It isn’t a jerk move, it is the exact same system. I think you can find it within your power to survive without the AH for a few hours. If you can’t, that’s an issue you need to solve on your own.

Then the Brutosaur AH code is tied to the particular AH code that gets shut down.
