I was declined to a key earlier

I actually disagree with that chart. At the first 2 weeks, people still believed prot pally was S tier on par with VDH, plenty of prot pallies were transferred from s1 to s2 and farmed low keys in the first 2 weeks. This led to the inflated number of prot pallies at low key brackets. Currently, low keys are pretty much dead, there are less and less keys 4-6. The new wave of DH rerollers, who already know the dungeons, surge over low brackets straight m10.

I honestly will sometimes do this myself, invite a lower ilvl/score player to a lower key. It gives them a bump, and it’s an environment that I know my group can get through no problem, so it’s a win for everyone.

OP I used to get annoyed at declines too, but honestly there are so many other things that could be happening. Who knows? Maybe a guildie of theirs randomly logged in and wanted to go tank or something. It’s annoying, yeah, but just keep on truckin’.

How will any of this help the OP get into +5s

Yes, this is human nature. Some players will always do this. Even if we had every single spec in the game have a 0.9-0.1% difference in performance between them some would still pick what they think is the best option, even in a hilarious turn of events that player is way less experienced than another person on “off meta”. Just sign up to another key and get in :dracthyr_shrug: you literally cannot fix this issue because it’s a human thing.

Now you tell me. How many warlocks did you decline or simply ignore in S1?

Your solution is poor, as it’ll still leave you in fundamentally the same situation as the butt of a loaf of bread.

Everyone is just gonna reach around you for the best bits.

That’s not what I said. What I did say is the person in charge of the group may see you at your ilevel and someone at an ilevel that actually needs stuff from the +5 and invites them instead.

Bro had 1 negative experienced and immediately jumped to “It must be the metas fault.” I personally think you’re the one caring a little too much about the meta my guy.

I declined a key earlier myself. In fact by earlier, I mean for the last five years.

Have had this happen a few times in the last few expansions. I always end up with one dungeon I just can’t get a key to and can’t get invited to. All my other runs are higher but there’s that one just lagging behind.

I run a mix of my own keys and pugs and occasionally you will run into this. It’s a flaw of the system

Look at you telling Pyri how to run Pyri’s key… I haven’t seen a deceant blatant overstep in a while, and in M+ discussion no less.

Here’s the numbers for this week only.

It’s a random +5 key, maybe get your OCD under control. There’s no reason to stress and write page long manifestos about the precise details of a single group rejection lol

Make your own group dude. Probably won’t decline yourself.

Yup, I only play a Holy Paladin and a MW Monk so pretty much every season one of my toons is playing “World of Kash Gets Declined” .

Just keep signing up or making your own group and eventually you will get one. No need to overthink it.

you ever think they maybe figured you would just leave if wipes happened in their obviously learning +5 group and didnt want to risk you leaving and bricking their key? no your a self centered idiot? gotcha. learn to look at other viewpoints instead of just your own…

I mean how many times you getting declined as a tank ? Like once lol
