Upgrade system is still in place, and PVP gear is worse outside of PVP content.
So the Gladiators gatekeeping everyone due to ilvl difference goes unchanged AND there’s gonna be even less playing since people who do both types of content aren’t gonna be inclined to even bother.

Classic Blizzard move, fix nothing and actually make it worse but pretend it’s a huge benefit.

I mean I saw a lot of good ideas for gear on the forums. Some I agreed with and some I didn’t. But pretty much every single one of them (from my persepective) seems better than this. However notes are just not coming out, so who’s to say this the end all be all (it probably is though).
And I and others told y’all repeatedly that just because they said they were thinking about implementing the WoD ilvl scaling they said nothing about removing the rating locks and upgrade levels.

Blizzard confirmed this in the Wowhead link in the OP, the only option left is convince Blizzard to change this.

I was responding more to the “notes aren’t all out” bit when we have Blizzard saying so.
they only hire people they know they can pay less than industry standard, they dont attract the big seasoned devs anymore.
