i hate it for gathering. so annoying having to use vigor to constantly land around a mountain. the trait to increase vigor generation after gathering needs to be massively buffed to 50% increase regen and not have a 30 second internal cd

Let me just say that I am grateful for flight paths and ferries. The less I have to deal with the blue screen animations of Dragon riding, the happier I am.

I wanted to like dragonriding. I do not enjoy it at all. I got all the dragonriding glyphs and know how to make it so that I never have to land to regenerate vigor. The glyphs made dragonriding feel “better”, but still awful. I couldn’t wait to go back to old zones and use regular flight to explore, do pet battles, and do mining/herbing. Dragonriding has its uses for traveling long distances or getting somewhere quickly, but that doesn’t make it enjoyable.

I never thought I’d say this, but it’s too fast. I don’t like going 930% speed. Regular flight is just the right speed for me, with the right amount of control, and the ability to hover that’s important to me. Dragonriding is better than using ground mounts, but that’s not saying much.

I wanted to hate Dragonriding too. Then I caused a Tauren to fall to their death via the Whirling Surge ability and now I love it.

I started working for a new company just after DF released so still haven’t had a chance to truly indulge my time with the game except for the first three days of its release. But I’m enjoying dragon riding a great deal. I’m not knocking other’s opinions on it but I don’t see how it’s a nuisance or something I’d hate, though I wish you could hover.

Dragonriding is great.

Smaller tauren mounts that take up less of the screen would be appreciated though.
As would them fixing the achievement bug (I have all gold races complete, but somehow not the all silver races and all bronze races complete ones)

I’m hoping for something like that aerial combat they promised us in WOTLK.

It’s turned out much better than I was expecting.

I’d like both. That turbo shot across zones is the best. But I do miss being able to hover when I need to step away quick but there are plenty of safe areas to afk.

Even at its worst I’ll take it over waiting 7 more months for pathfinder to be released like the past few expansions.

My biggest issue seems to be getting dc’ed while landing occasionally.

Where was this feature when they took out flying in Warlords? Spires was no fun at all to traverse on foot.

Dragon riding is great untill the battery dies, reminds me of evs. XD jokes aside its not bad, can be annoying at times. I also wish they had a vigor mode off/on button so you can flap instead if you want to.

I personally grew to really dislike normal flying. And had thought I wouldn’t like dragon flying at all. But I actually really like dragon flying because it’s a little mini game to do. I’m hoping that Blizzard figures out an elegant way to make all our mounts fly the same way our dragon-riding dragons do.

I hate it without even trying it on the principle that it’s just a way for Ion Hazzikotas to do the Buffalo Bill dance while moaning ‘Would you wanna get rid of old-style flying? Do you wanna hate flying just as much as I do?..’
