Yah I wasn’t done with wrath classic Yet either. Hence why I was asking for permanent wrath classic server options lol. Amazing how some folks don’t get this. And they get all mad when we complain.
Moral of the Story: Don’t join Judeoann’s Guild!
Got it!
You had over a year lol
Yah. And? What’s your point bro lol.
Personally I’m not against the idea of Wrath era servers, I get that some people want wrath era servers but for me personally, I got my time out of Wrath, I’m already checked out of it and got what I wanted from it so I’m not really interested into a Wrath era server.
However opinion time… The reason that I could probably think of why Wrath (and also TBC) didnt get era servers is because Classic era after TBC classic released, Classic era ended up becoming a ghost town. throughout its period it had resurgence of players mainly from hardcore and this “Fresh” thing but eventually it will die down. If Wrath era were to be added as an option, it would have even less players playing then Wrath classic before cata classic prepatch, only those Diehard Wrath fans will remain but even then they will probably quit because in Wrath era server you would be stuck in Phase 4 for the foreseeable future.
WoW right now is in a game mode ception right now, we have retail, WoW classic progression (Cataclysm) and SoD, we have those one off game modes such as Hardcore, Limited Time game modes/events (I.e Plunderstorm and Remix) and Classic era, while Wrath era wont be getting content, however there is some people in Wrath era would want a Season of Discovery Wrath edition so its another thing to manage. They have to pick and choose on what they want and this is probably their decision. Also more game modes will cause more overlap with other content releases and will cannibalize each other, I have wanted to complete MoP remix in its entirety (except rep) but with the release of Cata classic, that ended up cannibalizing it some extent.
I just don’t get why everyone get’s so butthurt. At the end of the day, we are just arguing back and forth and nothing seems to be going anywhere. Pretty typical in america though.
Pro cata players have their opinions for or against wrath classic permanent server options. Pro wrath classic server players have their opinions for or against permanent wrath classic servers. And those who have neutral opinions have neutral opinions on either side.
And that’s it. But for the love of god, don’t expect it to stop. Because it won’t stop.
LOL – your ego is way off buddy. No one here thinks you are the most valuable forum user.
Classic. TBC classic. Wrath classic. All should have a place to play here.
Blizzard don’t agree.
Wrong, best expac by far was Legion.
LK had the number sure, but the only reason people like it now is just due to nostalgia. I loved Wrath back in the day, but skipped Wrath Classic after remembering what a slog 70-80 was. Not to mention the playerbase just got way more sweaty and mean.
Mktaar-on-an-alt sprouting the same spam again. And again. And again. You need professional help Mktaar. Classic obsessive compulsive disorder.
Why did you necro this thread? Didn’t we have enough of that with mktaar?
I know how to solve this issue…
False. That was WoD.
Opinion I guess but also still false, best xpacs were between Cataclysm & MoP, and that’s not based on my opinion, but based on how much love I hear for those expansions, I hear way more love for those than BC or WOTLK these days.
Honestly bro, fair. Just go play… a you-know-what server. You love wotlk so much? It’s easier than you think to go back to replay old expansions you enjoyed when they were current.
I’m gonna get big hate for this, but nah. WoW has had 3 different eras. “Practically retail” wouldn’t be until WoD, which I highly doubt we will get. Anyways, this is my breakdown of the WoW eras. Do with it what you will.
Vanilla - wotlk: Beta development era.
Cata - MoP: Polished peak era.
WoD - Current: Zug-zug easy mode era. (Although I did love Legion. Guilty pleasure tbh)
Unintentional.
im waiting for legion classic
Guess what? No one cares, nor did we ask.
I don’t think they’ll go beyond MoP, as WoD was truly the “end of the Classic Era” that many ppl mistake Cata for, but nah canonically that was WoD with the first implementing of stat squishing, class toolkit gutting, and overall just gutting the skill ceilings of classes to make it more easy-mode.
I wouldn’t MIND Legion… its a guilty pleasure xpac of mine, but I’m not holding my breath given that it is a post-mop expansion. Unless maybe they skip wod… but now I’m just reaching.
None of those things matter. You’re thinking like a game critic not a game business man. All that matters is the success of MoP. If MoP is profitable WoD will be released. It’s already done so releasing it is cheap and even if it fails completely it won’t be much of a loss. Releasing it is a good gamble.
