Well, there was an old cartoon called Earthworm Jim, and Jim’s sidekick was a puppy named Peter Puppy, and whenever Peter was too scared he would start chanting “I must not fear. Fear is the mind killer. Fear is the little death that brings total oblivion.”
And whenever he got hurt, he turned into a huge monster and started mauling Jim, regardless of who hurt him.
