I get we have an over saturation of melee classes, but I feel this is the right time to introduce them into the game. We have only 2 mail wearing classes Warden fits as a third, they would also be the second class that can use Warglaives. I like to see one spec that is Dual-Wield semi-range that throws their weapons like boomerangs that strike through multiple targets and returns to them. Another spec could be one-handed and shield not as a tank type, but more like the gladiator stance warriors once had.
Their line of quests would focus on hunting down fugitives and bringing them to justice… depending on your faction, you would go after those your side would consider war criminals or escapees from places like Arcatraz and Violet Hold.
They’re the only race with Wardens, which is what the class is called-- Unless you want to melt it down and serve it up to every race the same way Druids and Paladins have been.
I think Nelves have lost enough of their racial flavor, don’t you?
I think it’d be neat if we got wardens and shadow hunters in one batch. both being the same class but with visual differences. it could be a two specced class with the horde version being (shadow hunter, dark ranger) and the alliance version being (warden, sentinel)
Do Wardens even have enough stuff unique to them to justify their own class? Because I’d rather not have a repeat of the Havoc Demon Hunter, especially so soon.
Or you just make Tinkers able to be wear mail. Could probably tank/heal/rdps with various gadgets. Turrets and such for dps. Shields and other supportive things for healing. Defensive armor stuff for tanking.
New Classes is a big yes for me…However, I think they need a new armor remodeling… as they clearly have the biggest cape that cover all her blades and most of the bodies armor to hide their glaive…
As time passes (IMO) I see more and more difficult for Blizz to add new classes… many classic classes have absolve most of the powers these Hero Classes should had… not to mention how they always change classes every expansion… so it feels fresh new, as they stated in that past forgotten Q&A.
I want all the Hero and normal classes of the WC3 RTS series in WoW, but they way the developers are constantly changing, adding and taking abilities of Classes… makes it really hard to picture them coming up.
Necromancer, Blood Mage, Lich, Crypt Lord, Archmage, Dark Ranger, Dread lord (Hero Class not the race) and Spell Breaker/Runemaster have been in the drafting table for ages, they were seriously consider for BC and WotLK… However DK, Warlock and Mages (among other classes) had most of its abilities…and Spell Breaker abilities has been given to most Classes as interrupts and disable enemy buff…
My only hope is that by adding DH missing one spec… this will help to add other Hero CLases with only One or Two specs or even add MORE specs to existing classes… However the balance issues with PvP will start to be brought up…
You know what, I give up, I have no idea how Blizz can bring new classes at this moment…without affecting existing classes… But I really hope they do, because I had such fun with the ones they added so far…So WARDENS HERO CLASS YES PLEASE!
