I want to see more of the Drust

The Drust are a cool and creepy group, and they bring a lot of unique flavor to WoW. What makes them stand out is their mix of druidic nature magic and dark death magic, which isn’t something you see in typical Warcraft druids. They use “drust magic,” which blends life and death, giving them a mystical but spooky vibe.

Their backstory is pretty tragic, too. The Drust were the original inhabitants of Kul Tiras before humans settled there. They eventually fought with the humans, and after losing, their leader, Gorak Tul, turned to necromancy to try and preserve their people. Even in death, they’re still a threat, hanging around in a twisted spirit realm called Thros, where they’re always scheming to break into the world of the living. This makes them a constant presence in both life and death, adding to their eerie allure.

The Drust also have a really distinctive look. Their designs feature twisted wood, bones, and ghostly shapes, combining nature with the supernatural. Their stone statues and creepy, shamanistic rituals give off major haunted forest vibes. The combination of all these elements—their tragic history, death magic, and spooky aesthetics—makes the Drust a memorable and intriguing part of Warcraft’s world.

Kul Tiran druid… solved. Drustvar had its time and place. We might get a glimpse in the future. After all, Midnight is all about the void, and there was a lot of dark voidy stuff happening there.

Might as well introduce playable Vrykul and all their different variations. Plus I want my giantess redhead.

I really wish there was more Drust content. Seems that After BFA and Shadowlands they dropped the whole Drust being enemies plot when we went into Dragon Isles and War Within.

The only interesting zone in BFA.

I’ve said this in other threads but I’m pretty convinced that there was more planned for the Drust in Shadowlands that was cut. Their plot and entire existence just kind of fell off without any real resolution, and I’ve heard rumors that Korthia was re-purposed from a Drust zone into the blandness that it wound up as.

Very disappointing either way, as I agree that they were some of the cooler and more unique enemies we’ve come across. I hope that if there was cut content they dig it up sometime in the future - could see the Drust coming back into play as invaders or opponents of Life.

They actually felt like the second coming of the undead scourge but deadly in nature.
