I want to see daylight in game

I always play the game at night.
Its so dark that the visibility is very poor.

The problem for “Jar of Sunwarmed Sand”

  1. Expensive
  2. Long CD (24 hours?!)
  3. Does not persist through death (as I see on GD)

Can you please just:

  1. Make daytime environment adjusted to player computer local time instead server time?
  2. Jar of Sunwarmed Sand becomes 2-4 hours CD?
  3. Jar of Sunwarmed Sand effect persist through death?

I almost always play at night and the visibility for me is just fine. And my eyes are garbage.

Perhaps try cranking your gamma?

Uh… no it isn’t, if anything, its too lit up for night time.

Do what I did: buy the jar on an alt. I also have about 20 of the consumable version on my main. Those are only 10 badges each.

It’s bright as hell in game right now and it’s 1AM my time

Please don’t bring the immersion-breaking permanent daytime back!

I’d rather they just make the days shorter than 24 hours so that everyone will be able to experience all parts of the day or night while playing at the same time in the real world. There is no reason it has to be a perfect 24 hours.

Yep make it cycle like very 2-4 hours, i want see the night sky more

How about we just leave it alone. If you want to see daytime play during the day. If you can’t, then alright you get to play at night.

I still don’t understand why Blizz doesn’t just reduce the cooldown of that toy to a reasonable level.

Come on man, expensive? It’s literally 2 dungeons.

The cooldown is objectionable in theory, but isn’t a problem in practice. You can use it per character. And who has more than 2 hours to play per night anyway, lol.

The “does not persist through death” thing though, is criminal, given the long CD.

Are you playing on a Gameboy or something?
My night vision is just fine :stuck_out_tongue:

Dark in game + bright outside = hard to see.

Do you guys forget timezones exist?
OP might be from Australia which is still part of US wow servers.
I’m a rebel and I play from Europe (because I have Canadian friends who referred me) and I get the issue too sometimes.

I am not breaking your immersion.
I just want my immersion.

  1. setting daylight to local computer time better fit your physical environment
  2. the toy effect me only, shorter CD and persist through death won’t affect you

I have my digital vibrancy quite high which also helps, removes the “gloom” as the night isn’t that dark to begin with.

He is probably on an Aussie server. I remember reading a few months back a few of those guys saying that due to the time zone difference it is always dark during their prime playing times.

And I’m 40 miles off Japan, and still don’t have vision or lag issues :stuck_out_tongue:

There should be a toy that can make the game seem like it’s daytime/nightime and the duration should either be the same or longer than the cooldown so there would be no downtime and in a way, permanent.

I agree the toy has a very long cooldown, it certainly wouldn’t hurt to reduce it, at least to a couple of hours.

The individual sands cost 10 TW tokens each. As I recall, you get 500 for the first run through a TW dungeon. So if you aren’t saving for a mount or any other TW stuff, thats what, 50 sands? Which will last a good long time.

Its a rather clever way to get people to do TW, if you think about it.
