I love reading the horde guys whinning about how long their PVP que is…
and they have to sit for hours for 8 minute games they get rolled on by alliance.
Then they brag to the " I love PVP and I want to PVP" mantra at the same time.
If you really loved PVP.

Your love would be complete if you could honestly PVP all the time.
You are so deprived of PVP you must go out in the world and harass other people to get it.
PVP is in your blood.
PVP is all day for you in every second every minute.

No one actually grinding as the Horde are complaining about the queue times. In fact, many see how awful and miserable it is to rank as Alliance.
And honestly, for every casual Hordey complaining about the queues, there are ten-times as many Alliance posts saying “better let us win faster or your queues will go up!” like its a threat or something.

I did roll alliance.
The only let down is the ppl mentality.
- Let them win
- When losing they AFK
- Notice more bots
- Avoidance of PvP by riding by in bg or in open world.
- Ppl that afk ish to leech bonus honor
The horde has less of the above as in about 15% but the alliance seem to have 30 to 50% of the above. Some BGs it’s 75% it’s truly insane when only a hand full is fighting and killing LTs in AV.
Sometimes I find myself soloing LTs and killing horde in a 40m.

We do like to PvP all the time. Which is why we are camping FP’s and BRM in between BG queues. Both of which are considered player-versus-player interactions. Nice try though.

I think the OP would have made more sense if PvP were replaced with BG. But still, then, I doubt most people would leave their established characters and communities for the sole benefit of quicker BG times, especially when those present other issues.
So you chose horde to rank and not to pvp. Once pvp gear is overshadowed by raid gear, you’ll still have your queue times.
No, I chose horde to be with my friends. I don’t get why people are slinging around having a queue like its a threat? So what, I’ll have to wait a bit longer to get into a BG…I still get to play the game with all that PvP gear I earned.

I don’t know why you took it as a threat. Basically what people are saying is alliance get more pvp than horde in world and BGs due to the faction imbalance.
Which would make people say that if people only played for pvp they would choose the faction that gave them more opportunities to do so.

Not to mention for every horde post talking about how AV sucks, there are 4 alliance posts talking about how its all good because they are winning and horde should shut up. The alliance is complaining about the horde complaining more than the horde is complaining.

As an old vanilla player it was more “I really want to enjoy Classic” but its not coming as easy as it should have. I have no excuses -it just didn’t live up to the hype.
Does it though? Running directly to Drek for 20 hours a day doesnt really sound like PvP to me.

One small facet of the pvp that is happening in classic wow that will die out once rankers start reaching their goals.
And I mention more opportunities to pvp as alliance because more horde targets in world from unbalanced servers and faster queue times for less waiting and actual pvp combat in wsg/ab once rankers obtain gear.

One small facet…also the complete and all consuming pvp meta of optimizing out as much pvp as possible to run to drek over and over? No, unless Blizzard changes something (and honestly, doubtfully,) then rushing Drek is going no-where.
Only relevant if you desire rank 10 or above. You can solo queue BGs or World pvp as alliance and get plenty of pvp.
