Which would make people say that if people only played for pvp they would choose the faction that gave them more opportunities to do so.

Nobody was able to tell how wildly imbalanced the factions were going to be when we all rolled day one…there was really no metric to go by. Sure, everyone knew that Horde would most likely be in the majority, but no one know it would be this one-sided.

I rolled Horde for the objectively better PvP racials–because I like to PvP…

The Alliance would have me believe that the 3 weeks of WPvP were so bad that it justifies all of the Horde being miserable for the rest of the life-span of this game.

I don’t think horde queue times need any justification. It’s just fact that the active horde pvp population is much larger than alliance. The only solution for an individual currently and most likely the foreseeable future is rerolling alliance.

It’s a player caused issue that only players can fix. Obviously, blizzard should have done faction caps and faction queues on servers but you’d have people outraged about it.

For you maybe. But there are plenty of more casual horde players that enjoy pvp that don’t have the time to wait in queues.

I’ve been getting around 500-700HKs a day between wPvP and BGs.

I love reading how awesome Alliance have it, while other Alliance scream about how discord premades drop queue and make for horrible Alliance matches.

On the other hand - the longer an AV match is, the more actual player vs player action is happening. 90 minute matches would reduce total percentage of time sitting in queue for Horde. People who are in it for the joy of beating an actual human don’t care about diminishing returns, we just like the fighting and cursing.

Um, i enjoy the queues. I spam my chants and make 20-30g between each queue. If its dead hours i go to Azshara and farm mines while i wait.

Next, we dont get “rolled on by alliance in 8 minutes” - Most matches i have been in have been 20 minutes or longer because your zerg strategy is weak and easily countered by forcing you guys to pvp in fields of strife.

Yes…by definition that is PvP…someone with PvP in their guild name should get that lol.

Is it a bit scummy? Sure! But it’s still one or several players versus one or more several players.

PS - I generally only will camp FP’s areas that accommodate players 52ish +…so yeah they award honor as well.

I would consider it ganking and not pvp. That said I would not go so far as to call ganking scummy either. That is a natural part of the game and I am ok with it.
