Well, first an evil undead monster has to slaughter your people and burn down your home.
Then, while in a desperate defense you have to vaudeville slide into their sword.

Shadowstep rogue with fireball essence or trinket, some kind of net/bind ability/trinket.
For that Sub-Rogue would have to be turned into a range class. Nobody plays sub anyway and it uses dark magic already.
And also lose one of your lives to a low level dungeon boss.
She’s obviously a Demon Hunter. There can be no other possibility.
But you play an edgy hippie that morphs into stuff and becomes a gigantic bird with antlers which can shoot lasers from the sky. Like the US superweapon from Generals.
It’s just Marksman with no traps.

I’d be down for a Dark Ranger-inspired Hunter spec. The idea probably doesn’t need a whole dedicated class. No pet, even optionally like MM.
