I want to play as a dragon.
I want to tank.
Paladin has always appealed to me thematically, but none of the races have really held much appeal. I like Tauren, but Paladin feels forced on them. Zandalari comes close, but they’re still a little too uptight.
I want something that is all zealotry, no vanity.
And a Drakonid Paladin would fit the bill.

That would require them to be tanks .
These lizzards can’t tank .
If a gnome can tank, so can a lizard. But screw that. Get in line. I’ve been asking for warlock tank spec for decades!

Dracthyr? Not even close. Too lanky, weird, and would turn to dust from a simple snap of the fingers.
Now the Drakonid, we already have Commander Lethanak and, dare I say, Sendrax. Not to mention other bulky, wingless, bipedal Drakonid across the Dragon Isles. It may be a bit funny having a playable Drakonid at 2/3rds the size of Sendrax, who is already about half the size of Lethanak, but I would take a Drakonid Paladin over the lanky Dragon Waluigi Wannabes any day of the week.

We should have gotten Drakanoids what a missed chance

I want to be a Drakonid period.
I would like the play the Relk (Sethrakk reskins) they seem cool. Or Sethrak. Or Naga. Drakonid would be nice if we got those beefy made models xD.
and drakonid being a disciplined soldier/servant race wouldn’t be too uptight?
I’m all for drakonid paladins though, I’d love to play one.
Sure, if they could look like to the one pictured.
If they add Drakonids, I want Blizzard to give them the Tauren/Worgen treatment for helmets, gloves, and boots. Not a fan of the way blizzard handled Dracthyr, as they’re too much like Druid forms in that you can’t see equipped gear outside of visage form (besides shoulders and belts) .
While we’re on the subject of scaly monsters, I still want Saurok after all these years. Same with Tarasek.

Drakonid and Tuskarr both need to be allied races before this expansion is over.
