I want to give my friend my gold

Basically as the title says.

I’ve decided I am not interested in playing SoD into phase 2 and I want to give my 100 or so gold to my friend who still is playing so they can buy a mount and consumables and the like.

But I’ve heard people are being false-flagged as participating in GDKP or gold selling if they exchange large sums of gold to other people.

Are those stories true or exaggerated?

If you’re not interested then why is being banned a problem? either way drop a ticket and get it resolved, you have nothing to worry about though.

you should be able to do it just fine… I am pretty sure it only tracks if there was traded items and gold from a similar raid ID.

I still play retail. Plus I don’t want him to get banned, either.

You have RMT gold?

Tell your friend to enjoy his vacation.

Then have them c.o.d an item if you’re really that scared

Or just trade him the gold in person

No, it’s gold I farmed from quests during phase 1 in preparation for phase 2.

If you didn’t buy the gold, you’ll be fine.

I loaned a guildie 60 gold earlier in P2 and neither of us have had any issues.

Idk, but they aren’t posting the stories in the Customer Support forums, so that’s somewhat telling…

Then you know the answer as well as anyone else.

Where’s Nekrage.

Did they get banned for their little experiment or did it just prove majority of the bans were handed out because of RMT.

Stop being dramatic just trade the gold.

they are true
you will probably be fine
but there’s a small chance you will be banned for 2 weeks
take your chances, or don’t :expressionless:

He had some posts flagged. He might be sleeping it off.

if he’s not posting, probably was banned lol :expressionless:

If you think someone having 100 gold warrants them as an RMTer, just say youre broke, lazy, and dont know how to make gold. Alot of legit players have well over 2k gold on SoD because making gold is super easy. you’re trolling on so many posts though, so I guess expecting any sort of intellectual thought from you is asking too much

I didn’t mean to be dramatic, I just heard about this happening. So I decided to wait a few weeks and then ask if this was actually something that was happening or if some people were making things up. I figured by now people would have a better idea of the truth of the matter.

giving people gold gets auto banned now

Dont even buy anything from a vendor, it auto bans you.
