Ran a M0 that took forever cause one of our dps just did negative damage
They were playing an enhancement shaman and upon further inspection they had on a ton of wrong stat items( strength) and they were just not playing their spec properly… the crazy thing is their item level was pretty high.
I felt bad for my group cause it shouldn’t have taken us that long to clear the content… after the dungeon i did stay to talk to the player and ended up finding out they were brand new player and they said the game didn’t really yeah them how to play at all and they’ve been able to clear other content fine.
I got on discord and tried to help them set up their bars but jfc the button bloat on enhance shaman is disgusting

Them not knowing how to play the game and wasting our time by doing 25% of the healers damage

Right but you said they’re a new player and couldn’t figure out how to play their class because there isn’t any info ingame. That’s not inconsiderate, they can’t be considerate if they don’t have the information already.
I guess you could argue they could just Google it, but maybe they don’t even know guides exist either.

On one boss they just spammed lighting bolt 60 times as enhance with strength weapons
It’s also not really “inconsiderate” to accept a group invite. They brought him along. They knew his DPS by the time they hit that first boss.
Every opportunity in the world to kick and find another DPS that isn’t as “inconsiderate.”

I mean you talked with them on Discord, did you glean why they were doing that? Did they come across as inconsiderate to you, or just not knowing what to do properly?

Maybe RNG has not been good for them so they had a bs make str weapons?
Tbh i thought he was just getting gapped on the trash and would deal decent boss damage, didn’t really realize until that first boss they were just doing nothing

How do you get Strength on mail gear?
trinkets and rings maybe but other pieces should be agi/int.

There are a lot of people that are totally clueless and have no idea that it’s inconsiderate to join that level of content while you aren’t capable. They just think “Hey, here is another mode of play, let’s give it a shot!”
It’s really not their fault that they expect it to be easy either because everything in the game has been easy to that point.

Weapons, I am guessing a bs made them or they bought them off the ah and didnt realize it or have no clue about their main stat yet
… how is that possible? Mail doesn’t come in strength. 
They said they just got the game, their shaman was boosted and the game didn’t really tell them they weren’t doing anything wrong because they were able to do stuff and have been doing dungeons
Strength dw 1h axes, healer trinket and the rest of their gear was leather and mail
I can totally vouche that the new player experience is terrible sure they make you go through this trial but they really don’t tell you about stats. They assume you know to go wowhead or other sites for that.

I have a question.
If all of the mail gear wearers are agility and int users where did they get ther strength gear from?
I didn’t think strength had been on gear for like… 19 years from the Vanilla days where Warriors and Pallies wore mail until L40.
Can you even get strength mail armour anymore? (Or strength anything that isn’t plate?)
Crazy, an unknowledgable player was educated by a more experienced, and the learning player considered what they had to say.
