I want Sylvanas to return

You people were right, the recent short has truly hyped me for Sylvanas’ inevitable return to the game.

Now I am hyped, because when Sylvanas returns, she’ll spend 99% of her time talking with her sisters and her nephews (because she only sees herself as a Windrunner now), and as a result, we will finally have the epic callback to the Second War.

Alleria and Sylvanas will once again fight side by side against an evil, corruptive force that seeks to destroy Quel’Thalas. But this time, they will fight together until the very end, and not part ways abruptly.

Oh and she’ll send an in-game mail to Loyalist characters I guess.

Bring on the Sylvanas/Alleria storyline in Midnight! Oh I can hardly wait!!

I only hope that Midnight’s sales will not be affected too much by this clearly controversial character. Looks at BfA and SL’s disastrous sales

Doesn’t it get exhausting just putting out bait all the time? There’s gotta be something you’d rather be doing then… this.

Being a genocidal war criminal is in the Windrunner blood. Even Alleria’s mother was also named Alleria and fought in the Troll Wars. I’m sure once they get over their minor differences, they can bond again.

Now this i can most certianly agree with =] I love Sylvanas.

Her return can only be well-written if they continue with the story set-up in Shadowlands.

Sylvanas no longer sees herself as the banshee queen, she only sees herself as a Windrunner, period.

That is the set-up of Shadowlands, and considering how WSS is continuing the Shadowlands’ character arcs (Anduin being depressed, Thrall not feeling the elements), etc. it is obvious that Sylvanas in Midnight will only sees herself as a Windrunner.

NOT a banshee queen.

I feel that in Midnight she will come in and essentially save her sister from impending doom.

Sylvanas is the most interesting of the sisters and Blizzard knows it. They would be stupid not to capitalize on it.

Sylvanas will likely get her honorable death defending Quel’thalas she always wanted to begin with. Likely some heroic moment at the cost of her life.

She already died once doing that. No need to repeat the trope.

Except she got turned into an undead monstrosity and made to kill those she loved. This time she can actually die a heroic death. Blizzard loves “but this time, it is different!”. No way they won’t pull some stunt like that.

How about if she has to retire, she remains amongst the living? Unless you got a few alliance leaders off the top of your head who should die heroically

It is time some alliance leaders die don’t you thinK? They survived long enough.

I am pretty sure Alleria’s days are numbered as well. So… yeah…

She is a relic of the second war unable to move on in a world that changed too much since her return. I don’t think without the void she would have any plot to tell.

all windrunners are insane

Your post is a challenge.

I can fix them.

Look, Sylvanas has already been fixed, thanks to Anduin/Pelagos. One down, two to go.

But very much famous.

I’m not sure if I’m like, missing a joke here. But uh, Alleria’s mom was named Lireesa.

Whoops, grandma

He meant her grandmother. She was also named Alleria.

h ttps://warcraft.wiki.gg/wiki/Alleria_Windrunner_(mother_of_Lireesa)

What I wonder is if the “Main” Alleria is still 3,000 years old and fought in the Troll Wars of if that’s been retconned and the Alleria who fought in the Troll Wars was this random grand-mother.
