Yes Worm and her alt Glinda are the two biggest trolls on these forums. That is the only person who goes out of their way to troll every single post that they possibly can. just ignore them. I do. Dont even reply to them. Every post they ever make ever is as troll post and Glinda and Worm usually always post on the same forum threads back to back sometimes. So just ignore. I am on Mutanas. That server is very dead. I had to re roll to a new server. Just began on a new one. Not going to level this toon anymore at all for SOM sorry to say. Got a orc shammy now.
yeah so i leveled to the 50s, came back to the game, realised my server is now dead (no LFG posts for 10+ mins for ANY dungeon) . log out, click server transfer - it’s greyed out and unavailable
well, i’m pretty much done until wrath unless i can transfer my character off unless this gets opened up ASAP
There’s been a blue post that xfers are coming but who knows in how long or where they will be too. /Shrug
I was typing while Naztor above posted but I’ll reply anyway,
They said they’re opening free character moves soon in a Blue Post.
My guess is that it will happen after February 7th so they can make as much money as possible from their TBCC transfer sale since they said they are opening up some TBCC realm transfers as well as SoM. So they’ll probably ride out the sale first IMO (I know that sale isn’t relevant to SoM, but it is relevant because these are connected).
Maybe it will be earlier or a little later, but hopefully in the next couple of weeks. We don’t know the details. Hopefully, people can get what they’re looking for.

After you get your free transfer, you only have 8+ months left before your toon gets thrown into the dead Classic Era Realms.
There will be no more transfers to a populated server because everyone will be playing on SOM Season 2 and all Classic Era Realms will be dead.
Then what next? In SOM Season 2 paying $15/mth to get the right at spending hundreds of hours downing raid bosses just so your loot will be useless in a short time again as SOM Season 2 toons gets thrown to dead Classic Era Servers again?
The saving your character thing might be helpful to people who cannot get used to the idea of seasonal. Also depending on the server cluster, you can keep on raiding in Classic Era. People do that just not perhaps in your neck of the woods.
