I want slimmer Pandaren

Whenever they decide to revisit Pandaren models I hope they include body size slider like Dracthyr. Wanna go on a diet.

What is stopping you from going on a diet?

Only if we also get a unique roll animation for Monks when you bump that slider to max.

Sliders for all races would be amazing, though I highly doubt we’ll ever see it.

I’d rename my monk Blueberry Veruca

You look like you’ve lost some weight. That’s terrible, have a dumpling.

The pandaren in the Brewmaster talent tree art doesn’t look slim, but he looks badass. I want that pandaren. All of the male pandaren art work makes them look like tough kung fu fighters, but the playable character models look like clowns.

There is a species of really skinny bear and they look fake… Unnervingly so

It’s all in the transmog and too many people lean way too hard into the “ha ha fat bear” look

Fully agree with this, I would love this to be done with dwarves and kul tirans as well.
I would love to play a dwarf but currently the female models are a little too big.

There should be a slider for body size / weight.

Also, there should be a slider for height. Not saying gnomes can become as tall as night elves, but I think an option for some minor variation is reasonable.

A skinny panda is a sick panda.

Nothing sadder looking than a skinny emaciated bear. Their thick hair and skin with that heavy layer of fat makes them almost invincible (or was that invisible?). Nope, we like our bears chunky.

Implementing sliders is not as easy as you might think. When Second Life came out they had their “Classic” avatars which are basically like ours. You got what you got. Then Linden labs decided to upgrade giving us the old “Classic” (without sliders) and the new “Mesh” (with sliders). Of course once you have sliders then clothes have to grow and shrink with the body.

It was a major development effort, the same as two WoW expansions but for Linden Labs this was not a problem. The reason was that in Second Life it’s the “members” (i.e. the players) who do all development of in world games and places.

So for Blizzard to do this would mean one or two expansions with no new content. We would basically be playing Dragonflight for the next four years.

Sliders for elves only make them thinner. The joke is, we’ve been playing Fat Elves all along.

A fat human is a sick human, but some people still want that represented in their characters :woman_shrugging:

Are we talking real world humans or the kind that can teleport, alter time and shoot fireballs from their fingers?

I would love something similar to GW2 - several set body types to choose from with a height slider. Gimme my tall, six-pack ladies!
