Night fae rogue (everyone else was necrolord), Venthyr holy paladin and hunter… God I keep thinking about Shadowlands lately. Had good times in it.
Wasn’t Mists of Pandaria. Nothing will ever compare to that PvP. That’s neither here nor there though. Shadowlands was on the right track in July of 2021. I have a feeling season 2 of this expansion could be trash if they don’t look at every single class and get them all in a straighter line when it comes to balance.
Covenant stuff was a little bit of a grind in Shadowlands, and grinds aren’t that great because we just want to PvP, but it wasn’t BFA’s last season random gear piece with perfect abilities triple stacked levels of grind.
I want those covenant abilities back pretty badly lol

Ahh yes, the perpetual cycle of rose-tinted goggles. We always hate it while we’re in it, but look bad and see how cool some of the things were.
I can’t make an assessment of SL yet. It’s still a blur of torghast and korthia farming.
I remember sub/fire 2s were fun af tho.
Yeah, bring back vesper totem so i can actually get above 2.4 somehow.

I never I’d reflect on some things in Shadowlands positively, but here we are 
Zones music overall eye candy was great.
Pvp on the other hand was just trash and frustrating. Meme oneshots, unkillable specs, just bad

I enjoyed the PvP more than the other stuff, but it wasn’t close to a favorite time by any stretch. It sure had its ups and downs as any other expansion.
I would say it’s agreeable that it could be some tinted glasses type stuff. However, in my defense, I found more good in it than bad. I really miss more of it than the parts that bugged me. I don’t think the cycle is that short also. I think it’s every other expansion minimum. Maybe 1/3rd of the expansion of this game were actual pinnacle gaming, in my opinion.
True that the one-shots were way too much. Healers were almost pointless. Amazing Aesthetics and fun 2v2 DPS gameplay though.
