I want Orc and Draenei Demon Hunters

Maybe then I’ll finally make one for keeps. I just don’t want to play an elf. Tired of those knife ears always complaining about “Muh sacrifices” “Muh brothers treehouse” “Muh deadscar”. Orcs have to live in a desert and are constantly getting kicked around, you don’t hear them crying about it nonstop.

They were created for the sole purpose of giving Warlocks a set of Vanilla Zandalari items.

Yea warlocks used to have metamorphosis. Demonhunters stole it from them. Illidan stole the knowledge from Guldans skull.

I do miss having the caster version. Having both would be preferential though. I guess blizzard didnt want zandalari to have all 10 base classes with the hero classes despite lore supporting it.

So, I’ve replied to a similar thread, and I’d like to add that below. That being said, I don’t really understand the reasoning about how a people wouldn’t go down a certain path. I honestly don’t see how it matters whether or not an entire race would choose to embrace the way of a demon hunter, so long as it is possible for even one of them to have been able to do so. And a lot of things are possible. Anyway, I think I said it before, so I’ll just quote it below.

Void Elf & Nightborne Demon Hunters?

Honestly, when it comes right down to it, we’re playing heroes - paragons of our races. We are the outliers from the majority of the population. So, it doesn’t really matter how “likely” it would be for an entire race to go down that path, simply if it would be possible for only 1 to do it. That one would be your character.

Also, from a game standpoint, we need to start asking the question: “Why not?” Is there a really good reason not to? Will it imbalance the game? How many would have their gaming experience turned sour, and how many would have their gaming experience enriched. I mean, isn’t that what player agency really means?

For something as personal and non-combat as race combinations there really isn’t any reason not to. If a DH of another race was in town with you, would your experience suffer? Would theirs possibly benefit? If you don’t like the combination then don’t use it, but that’s no reason to restrict someone else’s preferences and style when it doesn’t really affect you at all.

Well, since in SL we are going to have a new generation of dk from all races, we have now a precedent to do the same for dh in the future, i guess.

And who is going to teach these new demon hunters? Because in case everyone forgot, the only teacher of the Illidari way is currently hurtling through space, punching Sargeras in the nards for the foreseeable future.
