I want metamorphosis back for demonology

Meta ( metamorphosis ) was a toggled ability that would transform your demonology warlock into a demon.
This was used before the current summoner rework which came in legion at the end of WoD.
what im asking is not for the return of that previous playstyle but strictly the ability to transform our character EVEN IF ITS ONLY COSMETIC.
for exxample of a cosmetic only option. As demonology we summon a demonic tyrant, how about a glyph that turns us into the meta form when we summon the tyrant?
or
what if demonology could have a talent where WE are the demonic tyrant with the meta form. having the same abiliities but a flat damage increase on our spells comperable to losing the demonic tyrant casts.

This form was a staple of the spec. it was the reason i chose warlock at the start of mop and strived for green fire so my meta would be green.

It was originally borrowed from the demon hunter in Warcraft 3.

So when they made Demon Hunters a playable class in Legion, it kind of removed much hope for that.

That ability was the one that got me to play WoW.

My brother was doing a trial, and I saw someone use it on the screen and zi thought it was sick as hell.

Sad to lose it, it was very iconic.

Big demon at range…RDPS lock.

Big demon melee, DH.

It cna’t be confused or abused in pvp even lol. Unless in my time away a killer build of DH happened for throw glaives lol .

I despised Warlock lore being changed to accommodate that ability and refused to play it when it was introduced. I was glad for it to be gone.

People want class identity and then suddenly want two different classes to have the same thing. You’d have to come up with something very different in order for it to be considered by Blizz.

Fine you can have meta back but then we also go back to the Blizzard that said “We’d prefer you not play demonology”

they are completely different looking compared to DH meta tbh

i felt this pain. 20% nerf across the board JUST BECAUSE THEY DIDNT WANT US TO PLAY IT.
end of BRF and intro into HFC felt like nothing was fun.

They’re the same thing that do the same thing: turn you into a demon on a cooldown that ups damage. So I’ll say it again:

That ability never belonged to warlocks anyways. So glad it was removed.

dude idk why we keep endin up like this, cant have a dialog just full stonewall… have a good one.

i guess it continues to be a weird lore point but fel does corrupt the soul turning those it touches into demons. ebonlocke has a questline in mop where hes researching meta.

How is asking you to come up with something unique to make it not the same so that your idea would be considered in any way stonewalling you?

Get creative. Class identity is a thing. What can you do to make it unique?

That’s trying to get you to come up with new ideas, not shutting you down.

Blizzard still says that. Current demo with pi parse real high and it gives blizzard hissy fits.

Time warp for mages does make sense since mages do have time magic

Evoker lust do make sense because of their powers coming from the dragonflight themselves.

Shaman blood lust they have a connection to the elements and they can grant powers.
