Never seeing weapons, or putting them away constantly is annoying.
Probably the biggest reason I don’t play a Monk. They took away Jab from Windwalker, but at least Brewmaster could still use their weapon for Blackout Strike. Then they took that away too.
It’s hard to find support for this cause. This is the only thread I’ve found where nobody is screaming about how Monks are supposed to never use weapons ever, and that anyone who wants Monks to use weapons occasionally is stupid and wrong. If you bring up that Monks used to be able to attack with weapons in the past, they ignore you. If you bring up that Chen Stormstout, the first and most iconic Pandaren Monk, uses weapons they ignore that too. All they know is that they don’t think Monks should ever hold a weapon, ever, and they’ll start personally attacking and insulting you if you don’t start agreeing with them.
All of this is especially headscratching when you consider that FoF requires you to be holding a weapon to use. Literally not even used the ability.
