I Want an Orphan

With Midnight releasing player housing, I want the ability to adopt an orphan. Originally, not being able to take an orphan for longer than Children’s Week made sense because as “the hero”, we didn’t have a set house for them to live in. Now? We will.

I want an Orphan. I want to design a room for them. I want child-sized beds so they have a space where they can actually sleep. I want them to be able to play with my companion pets. And I want them to be able to have little “lets play!” quests akin to the ones for the Orphans in Hallowfall.

I also want your friends adopted orphans to be able to come “visit” so they can interact with the one you adopted.

Anyways, I want a lot. But now seems like the best time for us to be able to finally give the orphans of Azeroth their own homes with one of the heroes.

I’d like to see the option for out right any npc to be able to come visit, But having a orphan able to move in would be cool too. If they get around to adding options to allow you to place pets inside your house there is also the Argent Squire, It could be possible the option of placing battle pets inside your house would make it also possible to also place the Argent Squire companion in the house if nothing else.

As a man of the church I am quite familiar with your desire for orphans!

I would have a pandaren orphan!

Definitely true. The Garrison had the battle pet area where you could see your pets walking around - so it wouldn’t be a far stretch to make it work in a housing setting.

@w@, run little Timmy, ruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun!!

On a more serious note, I do wish we had actual adoptable orphan pets like Uuna for children’s week, even with the weirdos.

Argent Squire/Gruntling already exists as a child pet. You can name them, have them walk around with you everywhere, no pet battling, and placing pets in homes will probably be an option.

Only allowed for Priests, Druids, and Monks.

What I’d like is to leave my warband characters inside the house and, when I enter, see them in different situations — sweeping, sleeping, sitting, reading, etc.

And I’d also like to see my pets there — sleeping, eating, playing, fighting, etc.
