Then, I got to a point in the day/evening I couldn’t get into groups so I went blood got instance invites. So what’s my point I’d like Abomination Limb back for Blood and only blood put it in the blood tree. rather simple. So, sick of you say its not working as intended however my counter point you still have other talents from Shadow lands in other classes talent trees and they are still being used. I’m sick of not being able to talk to a GM in game and can’t talk to a Dev I don’t have Twitter…sorry X and I’m not going to use it. my point is why do this why remove something that worked made my spec class feel fun & unique.
Heck just as a player/Customer I feel ripped off! put something in its place, Design something anything removal without a replacement is just bad game design!!!

They might have more ways to grip mobs in, at elast the deafault death grip, but Abomb limb was a bit of a damage CD combined with area control, multiple casters at ranged? BAM, both in the DK tanks kill zone.
The issue with removing Abomb limb from Blood was more “we want you to rely on ohters more as a tank” but, fact of the matter is, unless in a set group, as a tank yo uare better off beng able to handle things yourself
Every other BDK has expressed the same sentiment, and has gone through their 5 stages of grief over losing it. It was a poor choice of game design, and especially tone deaf given the current cultural context where the spec has to compete with Vengeance DH.
Unfortunately there’s not much more to be said. Blizzard has decided to bully Blood mains. Your choices are to play a different game, choose a different class, or toughen up and hope a new dev comes along eventually and gives the spec some compensation.
I still find joy in Blood. I like it more than my previous tank main, which was Prot Paladin. My empty keybind definitely feels like a scar though.
It can very well be in set groups, but such in the land of pugs? a godsend for those that know you can’t always count on your team to aid you in things like gathering mobs.
Since each pull in m+ lasts about 1 minute, I would cycle Abom limb and Gorefiend’s every other pull :x
I also like to combine Gorefiend’s with Lichborne because both have a 2 minute CD, but that’s just a quirk and probably not a mandatory thing. We just get into these routines and it feels weird to break it, which is why I don’t normally take the talent that reduces Gorefiend’s to 1.5 min. Even still, that talent doesn’t get you back to 1 AoE grip per trash pack frequency because it’s only 30 seconds of CDR.
While I definitely agree with BDK having to compete with vengeance (self healing is insane for these two), blood DK feels like it’s in a really good spot. not OP by any means but has pretty high damage in both hero specs + retains a lot of the DK cheese abilities we all know and love. Removal of Abom limb was a mistake in my view. something else could have gone, but limb was universally loved
