Is there a lore reason why we dont have worgen monks. Or is it just because imabalance from the factions on goblins not having access?

Well why does it have to be in Gilneas, why can’t they learn it somewhere else. What are the gameplay reasons?
How would you code a worgen that has no class until they get to an area with monk trainers?
I don’t think there’s an official reason, but I imagine they wanted the vanilla-bc races to have a reason to level.
Well you start off as a level 1 in Gilneas. If there are not any Pandas there then there isn’t anyone to teach them the ways of the Monk. Even though it was fun at first that whole Gilneas starting level starts to grate after while and really limits future class expansion.

Lorewise, where your playable Worgen comes from is a time before Gilbeas opened to the world, and therefore no monks. I hate it too. A werewolf monk has been a long dream of mine, even if i dont ay Alliance
Yea, and I’d like a goblin monk that learns to forsake material possesions, would be fun.
Lore wise, lvl 1 blood elf and Draenei start in a time at the beginning of the burning crusade, yet their time capsule didn’t prevent blizz from putting pandaren monk trainers in their starting zones. Timeframe and being locked in said time frame isn’t a valid reason. Blizz made exception for those two races, and they can easily do it for worgen and goblins.
The Draenei are helping rescue crash survivors from the exodars failed landing yet a pandaren monk is there. Blood elves are dealing the immediate fallout of the scourges trip to SMC yet a pandaren is there to. Just saying.

Completely agree. Anyone using any kind of image swap (the blaster, the potion, and now the toy) can see the animations are there for worgen monks.
Lore wise bloodelfs are time locked but have monks and like already pointed out space goats also are time locked and they just added in a monk trainer out of no where who literally says he watched the exodar explode.
Gilneans can have brawlers that up grade to monks after you leave gilneas city just like they have harvest witches that become druids when you meet night elfs.
Those quests have been updated from their original bc days. Lore wise they aren’t in the same time as bc now.
Same quest I did during BC so not sure what the update was other then the level 2 quest you get that sends you to your class trainer to use your fancy new ability on some helpless training dummies, ie using tiger palm or jab whichever spell you earn then.

Literally all of them changed or were updated during mop to reflect the changes. The quest text changed on nearly all of them.
I’m sorry, please tell me which patch these quest are from again.

I can’t find any more recent update to that quest nor the other starting belf quest other then the burning crusade 2.0.3. The only exception is the level 2 quest to visit your class trainer, in which they added the monk trainer. No other changes. I’ve posted my sources so if you have a newer one then please share it.

Time locked quest talking about how the exodar just crashed added patch 2.0.3… with a random monk who watched it added in 5.0.4.
