Instead of picking four “favorites” to populate a campground scene, I minimize favorites and just have a long list of characters. I would like a persistent realm filter added so when I login, I only see characters on the selected realm. Kinda like it used to be but without depriving the people that like the new campground of anything.
It’s not persistent though, it. As in I logout then login again and the filter is still in effect?
I understand that, but it’s an option as what you want isn’t in the UI.
They’re probably not going to spend dev-$ on this if you can just type the realm name… how long does it take you type a realm never (every login) vs how much would they spend for a feature that everyone, or some, or maybe just a few would actually use?
If this they were getting tons of feedback asking for this on all feedback outlets (in-game, Forums, Twitter, Reddit, etc.) then maybe, but a lone request or even a dozen? Probably not.
Not what you’re asking for but they are introducing warband “groups” in 11.1 which will let you make up to 20 groups of 4 characters.
So as a work around you could make realm groups:
- sulfuras main alt
- sulfuras profs
- salfuras famers
- stormrage farmers
- dalaran m+
Or whatever. Not perfect but it’d work.
