There was a time when the dots themselves rewarded you with damage, instead of just being combo enablers that barely do anything on their own. Back when affliction as actually a rot spec.

Reverting UA back to 1 target is not fun. I want to rot i dont want to hard cast rapture.

Kind of. Instead of stacking damage by casting a bunch with infernal out. There’s a chance with each shard spent, that your infernal will spawn another while the original is out
It’s technically VoP but only during the original infernal Cd duration.

Me too. I picked affliction so that I could be a dot/rot class, like I have been for nearly a decade and a half. Why am I recently being forced into a totally different playstyle?
Remove darkglare. Buff DoTs dramatically. Let me put UA on as many people as I want.

Make the haste CD the only CD, remove darkglare! Rot rot rot and use Haste CD to rot harder.

VoP isn’t baked into infernal. They removed grim of supremacy and replaced it with rain of chaos. Which is pretty much VoP during your infernal window and that’s all.

Dark Glare isn’t so bad with the 2 minute CD on it now. However the 1 UA Limit is retarded with a capital R. It needs to be reverted back to how it was and remove teh damn 10% “Increased Damage” it is too dang similar to Haunt.

darkglare just gives you 8 sec of drain soul/sb casts, on 3 min cd

Not with the new talent Dark Caller. Dark Caller reduces CD down to 2 Minutes. It also extends the duration of dots for 8 seconds and gives you 20 seconds of dmg and increases the damage done by every dot by 10% for its duration. So if you plan it right you might be able to get a 29 second UA along with various other dots going for almost half a minute.
Also Dark Glare being 2 Minutes lines up perfectly with Dark Soul so you could trigger the two together to get extra damage that way.
Combine that with Malefic Rapture and you could be doing some decent damage. Specially if they revert the 1 UA bull crap they are doing.
**** rapture, trash spell that doesn’t belong in aff spec, dg extending dots by 8 seconds means your redotting will occur 8 seconds later, in that free time you can cast shadow bolts… what ? it’s trash, on retail it’s good only because of UA stack, the dmg dg deals is less than 5% of your damage
You are talking like someone who hasn’t watched a single Warlock Video. Kalamazi has laid it out perfectly as far as how good Afflictions Toolkit is right now. Malefic Rapture does dmg based on how many dots you have on the target. So yeah. You don’t sound like you know what you are talking about right now.
